I relate to this, but not really in a gender sort of way.
Each morning I wake and see myself in the mirror, I want to be something more than a human. It's something I've felt since age 14. Being made of flesh is so weak, frail, and ephemeral. I want to be constructed of something more durable, I want to be something more than what I am.
To bad no surgeon on earth can help me with this one yet...

I just wondered what you guy thought about that point of view on literlism in religion what I exsperenced today was a perfect example or how it can be harmful to a sersiaty to take that view point. I agree with homophobia be a sigh of latened homosexuality a lot of the time.
I would have to disagree with it being a sign of 'latent homosexuality a lot of the time.' Perhaps sometimes but more likely people are just disgusted by it... brought on indoctrination or it simply doesn't 'sit well' with them

No sadly, when we die all that is left of us is a husk, a burnt out subconscious mind, it has no willpower, no volition, no ability to comprehend or even remember emotion, all it does is have a basic memory of our lives. It's an even worse fate than being made of flesh.
What I seek is something much more than that even.
A spirit which retains all the physical characteristics of it's former human mind and body. That is something less than one per billion achieve before death.
