Dear brothers and sisters,

According to Campbell, the "Master of the Two Worlds" is a key archetype in the hero's journey. This is the point where the hero has overcome their challenges and returned home, bringing back the lessons and gifts they gained from their adventures. This is where they become a bridge between two worlds - the ordinary world and the world of adventure and growth.

In the context of Jediism, this concept is particularly relevant. As followers of the Jedi way, we seek to balance the physical and spiritual aspects of our lives, to live in harmony with the Force and with the world around us. The Master of the Two Worlds represents the culmination of this journey - the point where we have achieved balance and can bring that balance to the world.

To illustrate this concept, let me give you a real-world example. Think of someone you know who has overcome great adversity in their life. Perhaps they have faced a serious illness or a difficult personal challenge. Through their struggle, they have gained wisdom and strength, and they now use those gifts to help others who are facing similar challenges. They have become a bridge between the ordinary world and the world of suffering and growth.

This is the essence of the Master of the Two Worlds. It is not just about achieving personal success, but about using that success to help others and make the world a better place. As Jedi, we strive to embody this archetype in our own lives, to be a force for good in the world and to bring balance wherever we go. It can be said another way: My trials arm me to aid others. Our struggles, regardless of how much they hurt us, test us and bring us wisdom. Often that we did not want.

I see this as a duty and I encourage all Jedi to examine your trials in your life routinely. Understanding our life lessons can ease the pain in others.

In closing, I urge you to embrace the concept of the Master of the Two Worlds in your own life. Seek balance, overcome challenges, and use your gifts to help others. By doing so, you will not only become a better Jedi, but you will also make the world a better place for all.

May the Force be with you always.
