Finding a new feeling within myself. Looking for some new meditation content. Short yet effective. Any ideas?

A word on LightSabers: I have the Hasbro version of the Obi Wan Kenobi model with the detachable blade, which goes for over $1000 on Amazon now ( since Star Wars 7 came out) luckily I bought it before then at $150, I have the Luke Skywalker "Black series" from Hasbro at $160 (post Star Wars 7), both are decent for forms, but I am warned that full contact drills will destroy them. Also, they both have an annoying activation switch that gets in the way of a comfortable grip. I ordered an Ultrasaber for $320 and while it is fully durable and functional, I find it Large, heavy & cumbersome ( but I have small hands). My own personal preference is a Shoto from SaberForge ($360). As previously stated I am a Fencer of the modern tradition, or in Star Wars parlance a Devotee of the Makashi form, so a small hilt that fits into one hand is ideal for me. It came with a 32" blade and I ordered a 35" for comparison. I stand 5' 4" so the 35" will hit the floor during flourishes, so the 32" it came with is actually ideal for me. I can't truly express the contentment I have found from a weapon the truly "fits" me. : )

I am proud to announce that i have come to a conclusion on my issue. I am often to overcome by my own issues to give an unclouded view on problems that others have. Beginning tommorow, i am going to start training others in the saber sparring forms. They will gain new experience from sparring, just as i will from teaching them and sparring with them. Their mistakes will be their eventual success.

Hello, 1 week in Temple, and joined this group today. I served Regular Army 1986 - 1988, 45B Small Arms repairer, 201st Support Battalion, Fort Reilly Kansas. We spent Thanksgiving through New year in the Mojavi Desert on operation Desert Dagger (ramp-up to Desert Shield, which became Desert Storm, the First Gulf War). It was an Honor to Serve. Thank You all for your Service.

  • Is there any way to be a Jedi and still avoid spoilers until TLJ hits home video? Argh!
