That was a good video Whyte Horse.

I would think that the real question that we as people shold be asking is...

Do you know who you are? And are you comfortable with that person?

Thanks. It's also important to celebrate our diversity.

They can't self lubricate, there is a knob on the back of the skull not present only in males, adams apples, etc. just some thoughts.

My point exactly. How would he know? I would have to assume there would be some sort of bonding and romancing taking place before....

Thanks to modern medicine and technology, that first comment isn't necessarily true for most trans women. Also, if someone starts transitioning at a younger age, those features aren't nearly as prominent. They can also be removed surgically.

I have a female-to-male trans friend and a male-to-female transsexual acquaintance, and I'd bet a fair amount of money that 99% of people would not realize either was born a different gender without being told. They are, without a doubt, actually male and female, respectively.

As RyuJin said, transphobia is unfortunately quite common (even within the gay and lesbian community), so most transsexuals aren't generally vocal about their previous gender. And I'm not sure why they would be (unless they're sharing this information with potential partners).

This thread is pretty far removed from the one that helped me make the decision to join TotJO. :) I've been cringing a little because (based on another forum experience) I keep expecting the topic to derail, but for the most part it seems like everyone is being respectful, and people seem to be genuinely curious about and interested in the content of the thread.

For the record, I appreciate the freedom we're given here to explore ideas like this (that might cause trolls to come out from under their bridges were this any other site).

In the UK (and Europe) we are having a little... horse related issue... basically to cut a long story short our beef meat supplies have been 'contaminated' with horse meat. Some food labelled as 'beef' was actually 100% horse. Would you continue eating that food based on this information?

Lots of people wouldn't... if you said "No" then I must ask "Why?". There is really no rational explanation behind it. It isn't harmful, you can't taste the difference and, nay ;), if you didn't know you wouldn't even be aware of it... so why stop?

I reckon it is because you fear the difference; something you thought was one thing is now another and that is shocking. It even makes me have second thoughts!

We fear the unknown, the surprise... even more so when something we take as 'guaranteed' 'betrays' us in this manner...

That is relevant to all humans about all things...

I am aware of no such technology, after doing research myself I can tell a difference in post op vs natural, it's fairly obvious.

I wouldn't stop eating it because it was horse, but I would question the reliability of a company who couldn't tell the difference. I mean, if their to devious or incompetent to know a horse from a cow or even care, then what assurance can I take that they are following health code regulations?

We are pretty quick on the ban button if we have to be...

I herd that....

Id keep eating, proclaiming it's goodness till I was horse...

I doubt it would be my mane meal of course... :)

But, knowing what it is, I wouldn't halt(er) in my eating of it...

I don't wanna gallop away with all the puns... Desolous might wanna, trot a few out...
