Lol. I wasnt talking about Alex. So full of assumptions.
Walking, stumbling on these shadowfeet
Part of the seduction of most religions is the idea that if you just say the right things and believe really hard, your salvation will be at hand.
With Jediism. No one is coming to save you. You have to get off your ass and do it yourself - Me

Well, I did say that I would reply to this today ... Yet, I find myself wondering really what to reply. What can I possibly say about this ? And to be honest, I don't really understand what it is all about ...
It seems to me that any time we get an attachment to something/someone, it turns out being mostly imagination. We get our feelings aroused (the good ones as well as the bad) over how someone's expressions conform to what we feel about that person, others in the scenario, how this or that outcome could support other things we desire to imagine and how that goes into creating imagination (images) for others of what we desire to appear (also images).
The only thing I would suggest is that we refrain - for as much as we can - from being the arbiters of one another's morals. Who lied, who is two-faced (in truth we all have a multitude of personality facettes), who is saying what about whom and to whom according to this or that opinion, any time we are 'picking a side' ... then we probably need to back up and take a good honest and hard look into what the f**k exactly we're doing.
:pinch:   :woohoo:
And it isn't even to judge, to justify or condemn, anyone's or our own behaviour, but simply to see what is going on. Even that, for as complicated as these scenarios become progressively as more personalities get involved - hence more egos feeding on images in various states of composition and decomposition - until we have entirely stopped experiencing Life and are just on emotional auto-pilot defending or offending our interactive imaginations ...
Funny though : I'm much less astonished by Brenna and Zenchi getting into a spat than I am by the vidéos posted in reply or the idea of making pop-corn to enjoy the spectacle in the arena. I only from time to time remember that our Temple gets used for 'the games' -- how naïf am I ? What precisely is entertaining about any of that ? Please, explain it to me ...
... then again, no, don't.
Some may feel it callous and unfeeling of me when I say that this or that person has to 'go through what s/he has to go through'. Well, sorry, but that is true. If you don't believe me, I'll just send you right back to the 'heroic cycle' as illustrated in Campbell and ask for a nice comprehensive yet concise report on the 'belly of the whale' allegory. It does not mean that I don't care about that person (in fact, I care very much if I'm paying attention to it happening at all), but 'caring' and 'interfering with' are entirely distinct events. In fact, should I interfere with something that one has to learn by plunging into those murky waters (water symbolises ... ?), then in that case one could say that I 'care' about the illusion of harmony more than people. Those of you who know me well know also that is not the case. An honest row is better than a hypocritical hug ...

What it was about, was that your apprentice was desperately attempting to make me look like a liar. People will believe what they will, and naturally jump to conclusions...
