I tend to like male personalities better. more to the point, less headache-inducing. No perplexing woman logic. But I'm heterosexual (and perverted to add to that!)... So basically I have to suck it up and compromise. And I suspect this may be the case for most people, explaining why the physical love runs out so quickly, the rest of the relationship turning out to be a "habit". And why so many people separate ( or start an open relationship) once their children move out and they realize they have not much left in common...

Studies show that women want to have sex with very manly men but want relationships (as in long term) with men who have feminine personalities (And physical features! such as small jaws, etc. true story).

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

No one would say that about me after 28 years of marriage. ;)

Not at the level this is at...

And not all of our forums are visable to the unregistered...

This one prolly is, when I get a chance I will check...;)

Desolius, nice pun, but chill, lol...

thank you, punnery is a forte (if thats even a word). also, is it then time for us to have a private group discussion area for topics one might deem objectionable? i volunteer as moderator of doom, if so.

I do not think there is anything wrong with "objectionable" discussions being public. In fact, I'll argue that underage visitors should have their parents check out the site. They can then decide if the objectionable stuff is acceptable or not, and how much they need to keep an eye on their activity. If we hide the objectionable stuff, we are being dishonest, and may look like we have more to hide. If adults have a problem with what we have to say in some of the threads and find it so wrong they can't be at totjo anymore, so be it.

That's real Jedi of you.

Look if you want the churche's forum to have objectionable junk on it then so be it. I think it is a poor reflection on Jedism.

i think he meant objectionable to who, and to what extent. i mean, there will always be someone who objects to something. we cant very well be biting our fingernails before each post asking 'omg, i hope i dont offend anyone', now can we?

Being open minded is the jedi way. Finding stuff offensive all the time, hitting our members with bibles? You're in the wrong church. Try the catholic one.

A major feature of our temple is that we allow people to express themselves freely and encourage our members to discuss issues. I like to think if we build a stone temple it will include a stone forum with similar rules to this electronic one. We even allow guests to express their views. All we ask is that people put what we give them to good use.

I have not mentioned, implied the bible or am "hitting" people with the bible. I don't know why you brought the bible or the catholic church into this?

My point is if you feel/believe some of these posts represent the beliefs of the church well and are good for the image of the church, well good for you. I think when a new person visits this church via the forum they don't get as good or accurate of an impression as they could. Believe it or not but what is being said on the church's forum defines the church and peoples perceptions of it.

Open minded? Readers can judge of that for themselves.

It doesn't always seem that way. Maybe it's just the strong opinions of some folks that seem to stand out?

Good night. I'm going camping this weekend. Bee well.

If saying you are a polyamorous heterosexual homoromantic, bothers you this much, I am really glad I left a lot of other details out roflao.

In my opinion.... if people visiting are not prepared to be open minded and accept new things or things that they may not usually be comfortable with, then perhaps they are not ready (at a personal level) to begin this path.

No one is forcing anyone to believe a certain way. But I feel it is important to be open and up front. Sure, that practice can sometimes come back to bite you in the blubber; but, would you rather we "hide" the truth from people? I personally feel that deception is NOT the Jedi way.
