Yeah, I get that. I was atheist prior to coming here too :) and I'm with you on the whole 'colonies go naked and wear clown noses' as the official religion. Both because A. I agree that it makes as much sense as having one in the first place and B. It would be hilarious :laugh:

Or anyone else that does not fit with ones definition of "valid and reasonable". A state imposed religion is a MASSIVE step backwards. Just as I said above, he says Jediism has no infidels right after he defines all the Jedi Infidels. LOL.. seemed quite strange to me!!

This isn't the right thread for it, but I'd be interested in what made you either stop being one or why you at least identify it as being part of your past instead of your present.

Jediism gave me the "missing link", if you will, and solidified my lack of belief in supernatural entities more than ever before. It's always interesting to hear the perspective of people who went the other way after the same learning material :)

But like I said, this isn't the right thread. Maybe I'll start one when I get the energy.
