"Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not; it is the first lesson that ought to be learned; and however early training begins, it is probably the last lesson learned thoroughly."

Ok, 1st off I was not asking for MORE TRAINING, nor MORE MATERIAL. What I really was only seeking was a sneak peek at what is to come. I understand that the apprenticeship is designed for each teacher/apprentice by the teacher. I get that ok.

All I was seeking, was some type of motivation to get me through the IP. Just looking through the contents of the IP kind of bores me, I personally don't find much that sparks my imagination within it. So I was hoping just to find a reason to move forward by asking what is to come.

Now as far as me saying that there is a lie by Jestor, well then let me ask the council this.

Example... A new person joins, they take a look at the oath then all the codes. But lets say they do not believe that these codes are worthy to take an oath for. But they do find it O.K. to go through the IP and complete the IP. So now this person has completed the IP, but not taken the oath. Would this person be allowed to apprentice.

Now from what I have seen and read here, my guess to that question is a big fat NO.
So this is where I was questioning why there is not a section for one who wishes to explore a different path.
I don't believe the force has sides at all. The force is ONE.

Having to take the Oath to follow those Codes, is nothing but LIGHT SIDE teaching. Not saying there is anything wrong with it, but there basically becomes no way anyone can become a knight unless they take this LIGHT SIDE OATH?

Please tell me in what place in history where people were invited to become knights or take on any kind of leadership role without first taking an oath or making a pledge that they upheld ALL, not some, but ALL of the ideals of that orgranization?

That goes without saying and I'm sure mostly every one understand that...but when you say it over and over it feels like something else is being suggested.

And this is one of the major things that (identity not given) laughs at all those who take the oath without really considering what that oath entails.
Now as far as I am concerned why would some one take an oath unless they were willing to follow the ideals set forth. If they never had it within their heart to follow the ideals, then that person is a liar.

Wouldnt it be cool if there was a way for those who agree with the ideals wholeheartedly to be able to take that oath and those that dont agree to NOT take that oath but still be welcome here to participate?

scott777ab and anyone else wondering

You can train without being a member. Instead of a rank you'd earn a diploma in Jediism Religious Studies. The IP is still required just like some colleges require entrance examinations.

It's been a long time since this has come up. I don't think it's in the FAQ, probably because nobody showed interest in doing it for so long.

There's no way to show what comes after the IP because it does not exist yet. When I take a student I look how they've completed the IP, their posts in the forum and ask them questions (among other things). I'll give a lesson. Based on that lesson I'll chose the next one. There is no preset pattern or structure. There's nothing behind the curtain.

Even if an Apprentice were willing to copy all her lessons for you (she could, there's no vow of silence or secrecy) that would tell you nothing about what yours would be. You might have some of the same lessons. That's why I posted three examples of lessons I've assigned more than once but that does not mean I give them to everyone every time.

As for lying (NSFA - extreme nudity)
