The American gun Laws.....can it remain as it is?

So the answer is ban everyone's guns because of the times some, supposed, whack job goes off the deep end? That is not even an argument.

But it's a false statement. People with big guns don't need to use them more and more. If that were the case then wouldn't we be nuking each other left and right?
I don't understand. I thought your argument was for continued gun sales/ownership. Now you're saying there are no benefits to it? Why would anyone put a dangerous weapon in their home if they don't need it? That woman was keeping all of them guns just in case one day, her son could go mental, grab the guns and go shoot some kids?
 Of course you don't. We never seem to understand each other.
My point is, that no not everybody needs one or needs to use one. You said they were like drugs and that they "needed" to be used again and again like an addict would use meth. That's just nonsense. You can have a gun and never use it. Fact. You can have a gun and use it for sport, but you won't get hooked. Fact.
As for me saying there are no benefits, well you misread. I've clearly stated many reasons in past posts. As for the danger, it's only dangerous if you also have bullets (the correct kind), and it's loaded, and cocked, and the safety is off, and the trigger gets pulled, and it's pointed in a dangerous direction...unless you're using it as a club?
You know, this conversation would be a lot more enthralling if you actually knew something about guns. It's like talking physics with someone unable to grasp the concept of gravity. We go round and round but end up nowhere...and I think that might be because you're (probably an instigator

We fear what we do not know.

As a nation you seem pretty hostile to the idea of not having guns. Even saying that criminals are so well armed, not having the possibility of arming yourself would reduce your life expectancy. Seems pretty hooked up to me.

And the wrong people may drive a car intoxicated an kill school children crossing the street. Or they'll take a bow and shoot their father in the head while he's teaching a college class. Or they'll stab their stepmom to death. Or they'll...
The wrong people will always be around. Why should we have to pay for their mistakes?
