Our training program seperates those that really want to accomplish something, and those who just want to wear the Jedi name...

Living the life, and walking the walk are more important than anything we hash ou here... This medium is strictly for the mental part of the process...
That circumstances grow out of thought every man knows who has for any length of time practiced self-control and self-purification, for he will have noticed that the alteration in his circumstances has been in exact ratio with his altered mental condition. So true is this that when a man earnestly applies himself to remedy the defects in his character, and makes swift and marked progress, he passes rapidly through a succession of vicissitudes.

Dragged? By whom, and for what purpose?
By my training master and life mentor Jackie. She's one who truly believes light is a better path. And, I was drowning in my own darkness, but not ruling over it... so I wasn't really a Sith (who has control and works on a level with darkness), but a scared, 14 year old kid who was drowning in suffering and didn't even know it. She found me and told me there was a better path for me. She showed me Jedi ways and I took hold of them. But, I would never have done it unless she had hounded me every step of the way.
Now I love where I am, and I wouldn't go back.
Does she know you, personally, physical world?
On here, the internet I mean, its hard to 'make' anyone do anything...
Ultimately, you must have known she was right, and wanted to do the work, only you needed the push?

And, really I was forced to do the work for a while, until I understood she was right. Then, I took off on my own.
I still don't think she's "right", and I don't think I'm "right". I was just on a path of destroying myself and I realized that maybe I cared a little. But, it took a little forceful "parenting" to see it.
Like I said, I didn't even know who I was. And, today, I know that I don't really have a self, which takes away that confusion.

Lol, many don't get as far as the training in the Dark path.
As for this medium being "just the mental part of the process ", how does that seperate from living the life or walking the talk? That is it less a part of the path you live? If it is so trite as that...why bother with it at all?
I know the arguement people make by seperating online from "real life " but really, your online in real life no? Its part of your path if your putting time into it....lol, if its just for masterbation...well that is your choice.

When I want to do something, lets say change the brake pads on my car...
I ask around, do a little research, talk to friends, get opinions, yada-yada...
This, line of thinking, philosophy/Jedi/Sith/dark/light/whatever, isn't something you can just bring up in a conversation...
Its the reason we all haunt these halls on the net...
My friends and family dont wanna talk about life and death, points of view, perception, stuff like that...
They are living in their little worlds, worried about what is important to them...
This is a mental facet of me being me, to us all, being ourselves.. There's my job, which I don't discuss much here, my wife and kids, which I don't discuss a lot here.... Here, I discuss my, uh, spirituality? Idk, stuff that work people, wife, and others don't wanna discuss....
The physical stuff gets done in my physical location...

That's why....
How about yourself?
Why bother?
On walk-about...
Sith ain't Evil...
Jedi ain't Saints....

I would think that a Jedi and a Sith would be self exclusionary.
A Jedi is about peace and harmony. About love and compassion. A Jedi is about improving society
A Sith is about anger, war, hatred, fear. A Sith is about power at all costs regardless of who they step on to get ahead.
If we look at Star Wars, as an example, Annakin Skywalker was a Jedi while he followed the Lightside of the Force. When he joined the Darkside he became Darth Vader and a Sith. Obi-Wan Kenobi said that Annakin Skywalker died. Yoda when questioned by Luke basically said that when he became Darth Vader then Annakin died.. or when he became a Sith the Jedi in him ceased to exist.
