Dark side?
Asking someone not to contradict themselves within two sentences isn't a lot to ask IMO.
This in no way implies that just because you ask, that you should get what you ask for.

I like octagons because it sounds a bit like octopus, and they're really interesting...they've got EIGHT tentacley things...did you know?

It sounds kinda like 'hydra', the mythical multi-headed sea beast that ate octopi by the boatload.
/octopi. Its what's for dinner.

I dunno, sometimes the most hilariously catastrophic thing you can do is give someone exactly what they ask for. I would think a Sith would have appreciation for that...Khaos wrote:

Oh, thanks for being here, by the way. I haven't really taken the time to say it before, but I find the energy and/or tone of the things you have said so far (in this and other threads) to be either insightful, or at the very least, refreshingly irreverent.

Good. It seems your "feelings" led you correctly.FraterDavid wrote: I had a feeling that was you, DaathMenace.
Many are surprised with the willingness of some dark-siders to reveal themselves despite persecution of a kind a pampered light-sider would never have to worry about. Did you know that being able to move about freely and to change others' perceptions of you is one of the basics of the dark side?FraterDavid wrote: I'm surprised that you would be willing to reveal yourself after having just gotten banned under that account. I don't think the admins here are going to take kindly to that kind of evasive behavior.
"Sayin" < "Saying".FraterDavid wrote: But yes, brother, of course I owe you thanks. It need not be subconscious. I am thankful for the opportunities for self-regulation that your existence has presented me and others with. I just hadn't meant to express thanks for that specific post of yours. It would appear that all such seeming mistakes serve good purposes after all, though.
Oh, by the way, if you're going to claim to have more knowledge than other people, you should probably also aim to spell words like "acknowledge" correctly. Just sayin.
I might find your post more convincing if you demonstrated experience in good grammar yourself.
Hahaha! So a "Novice" is versed enough in the Force to tell a false Sith from a true, a false Jedi from a true, a false Darth from a true? With a claim to knowledge like that I suppose you'll be a Master of the Force within three days, I suppose? I find your mindless confidence almost as amusing as your fear of dark-siders and what we represent.Alethea Thompson wrote: DeathStar:
That's simple, he's been on the path for ages. He comes from the original schools of the Sith Path. He has earned his place as a "Darth" and happens to run the oldest running Sith Order at Force Academy (at the moment).
I doubt he will "quake in fear" of you. HA! In fact, if you had been at the FA in '98, I have a feeling you would be the one quaking in fear of Darth Moor. So let's stop with the flaunting of your ego, and see you actually match up to your philosophy in some meaningful manner. I don't think you can hack it though, so far I've seen a lot of talk and not a lot of proof.
