Reiki, the devils work????

I think Mark would be more than happy to collaborate on a thread, or at least oversee one. Personally, I'd be very interested in a Reiki thread.

When have you not been civil? You mean to say that telling Temple Goddess to piss off in chat yesterday was not unkind? Or dismissing me as a noob?

Personally, I don't believe in the devil, so I can't say that I think anything is the "devil's work".

I did not see a example of where I was not civil. Per Reiki that is his area and neither of us should attempt to speak for him.

Thought I'd just take some initiative

I think we could all learn from each other...

The founder of the system known as Reiki was a zaike, a Buddhist lay preacher. His life was spent in the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment, serving his fellow humans, tending to the sick and teaching what he could to whoever needed it. I think he would have fit in well with Jediism as well as this Church....

In response to the original topic. I would no more call Reiki the devils work than I would call meditation the Devils tool, or vitamins the devils fuel. I'd also quote Jesus "These things I do you shall do also and greater."

And so I have just finished reading every post in this thread.

I believe this thread is the devils work as it has pit Jedi against Jedi in a unfavorable way.

Believe in each other and the learning will begin. Believe in the good intentions of others and joy will fill your hearts.

As we are all in this together...Believe in the power of our combined knowledge to further our enlightenment.

I wouldn't call it "devil's work", but, in the absence of any real scientific evidence proving it's effectiveness, I would call it fraud.
