If parliament ignored it I'm not sure the Tories would ever get back in there.
Sometimes good change must be painful. There'll be panic for a bit while everyone loses their heads, but I truly believe that we will be fine.
I might be in the minority on totjo with my voting choice though...

I wasn't able to vote, but I would have chosen to remain. I wish this kind of thing required a stronger majority. It was a narrow margin of victory for the leave campaign. I fear the repercussions yet to happen, especially with regard to other countries leaving. Summarized: countries with serious economic issues will be left floundering, looking for a rescue from a country that will promise it. The Iron Curtain might suddenly exist again, and this event might mark a significant milestone in our children's and grandchildren's history textbooks.

I'm not so worried on the political landscape ; it paves the way for other European states to secede from the Union now, which may just be either the slap in the face that gets the EU to recognise that our unity is about people, not about economic growth (for corporations, mainly), or it could very well be the end of the EU.
Either way, this sort of political shake up is more successful at promoting a "prise de conscience" than war seems to do ("war", as it were, to the vast majority, is simply something that goes on on the telly). We'll see what happens next ...
Personally, I've felt this before ... the last time, I was 15. I need to stop feeling things like a 15 year-old.

If access to the EU market requires the free movement of people and paying into the EU budget I am going to laugh heartily.

Why let us play if we refuse to pay? It must do.
Nice to see the likes of Le Pen and Wilders crawling out of their respective sewers to demand the same for their countries. Farage is in apt company.
Edit - 3 hours sleep and touchphone typing do not mix

free access does. Otherwise you gotta pay in a different way. Definitely have to be a member of the ECHR too. I'll laugh hard if they exit the EU only to remain in the EEA. Either way I'm glad british national politics (and asshole MEPs like Farage) are no longer going to mess with the EU.

It did for Switzerland - I doubt it'll be different for GB
