We make our own luck...

By butting heads with everyone, and everything, you are creating your "bad" luck...

I see an example of it every day by my supervisor...

But, some people won't listen....

Honestly. I love that this Temple is online, because I kind of see it as "the temple of no temple" and it being online means it's everywhere and nowhere, my own silly preferences, but consider this my disclaimer. I love this place.
But this is a website. It is not the world. It is an online representation of a specific organization. One cannot walk into a company one does not work for and start making new rules and delegating new projects, and neither can one walk into these "halls" and spread teachings that are not OF this organization. If you don't agree or don't like what these people have to teach, clearly you should be learning from someone else, somewhere else. No one is claiming overall superiority, the masters and councillors are such of THIS Temple, of THIS organization. Everyone starts at the bottom, and they have earned their ranks.

Perhaps one felt that the brief time that the 'Public Journal' was locked and under some suspicion was a pre-curseur to getting banned. One would needs now realise that it is pretty hard to get banned from the TotJO.

So, the 'second-chance' talk was maybe pre-emptive.

True true... but this was also posted no less than twice:

http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/General-Discussions/106158-a-public-journal?start=20#137136

I can say what brought the topic over the line for me. (BTW, nobody's been censored or banned. Sometimes a thread is locked for a time out so things can get sorted and reconciled.) I'm looking at it through the perspective of a casual browser or a new member. Someone not familiar with our protocols. Taken as a whole with the language about students, training, masters, apprentices etc and the responses of an apprentice / student - it could easily give the impression it's a teaching of The Order by an authorized teacher of The Order.

That's it. It's easy to remedy.

[emphasis mine]
