I could care less if I shared a locker room with a transgender.

The human body is just that, a body. It’s the vessel we occupy at current. Personally, I don’t see the point in wasting resources dividing things up into male and female. We all want to be equal and treated equally… let there be one locker room for all; male, female, transgender, multi gender, heterosexual, homosexual and anyone else I'm forgetting... and we can call it, the locker room.

I’m not ashamed of what I look like. I don’t have anything to hide… that I remember.
We all pee, poop and shower… okay, most of us shower. And we all get dressed. Why do we need to be separated in the first place?

As the starter of this thread, I'd like to thank everyone that contributed. Especially the ones I disagree with as your points are valuable for helping me see a different point of view.

I don't get offended easily, and insults about my intelligence or lack of is nothing to me; I'm usually able to get through any ad-hominem attacks on my person or character in order to get at the meat of why someone disagrees with me. And while there wasn't any DIRECT insults tossed my way, there definitely was some passive-aggressive comments that may or may not have been referencing me.

Anyway, that aside was simply to point out that Temple members and guests may always speak frank to me. I like to learn (the "L" in LTK does mean learn ) I need to think about this more for myself based on what I've learned on this thread and what fears (irrational or not) motivate me.

Very good stuff from all, and a Zombieland reference in a thread just makes it better, haha.
