but here is the thing, we can make drama come our way or attract it

the BOON or the RESULT of our choices can bring healthy yield and result or spoil or decay

We can work on training ourselves to be jerks with our time and efforts too

We try to remind each other and others that patience is a virtue any one can posse or create.

its almost second nature to have the draw to be of SOME type of assistance to our fellow humans

We want to help others so bad we even do it to the best of our ability

We need courage

I think of the Cowardly lion in a way

and harmony

can come from courage.

How does one have courage ?

helping others takes courage

Providing help makes YOU vulnerable

We all want to help one another eventually

One of the paths to find on this Jedi path is a Selfless path

COMMUNICATION is scary

But what we want is most time to help

how does one guard peace in their lifes and in their paths?

We as Jedi are guardians of peace

By choosing to be A Jedi, we yolk or group our paths with that of others

we unite

under the banner or the CLOAK of Jedi

We choose to unite as Jedi

it is in this unity we find ourselves

With so much available how do you figure out which and what is harmony and understanding and PEACE? where do we find peace as Jedi ?

we say we are and we use the example and the metaphor of the "instrument" intentionally

as we tune and hone our skills of relationships and connections and life, we can become useful in more ways

but what we STIVE for takes a weeeeeeee bit more time to cultivate

We hope that Jedi cultivate these things

Understanding is the thing to cultivate

Understanding take reflection

We are given our teaching and reminders for things like this

each teaching reminds us of the IMPORTANCE of what and HOW we do things

in our teaching it reminds us we are human and have limits

knowing full well we are not spacecowboys or Floating wizards ... we are human we can develop our being as we choose

You have to know where your limits are

forgetting you limits can cause you to be like Vader

This is one of the CHIEF examples of why the Star Wars can be much more than lights and sounds and cool gear

the idea we pass as are passing is to be the whole human

to be human and to understand the ideas we all have and go through

We as humans can understand who we are

We can help others

but COMPASSION FATIGUE is real

So as Jedi we come to a place where we can answer the age old MOTIF ...what of others?

What are we going to do with the rest of the 8 BILIION people present besides us today

how will we act???What can we do? How can I help ?

We as humans and Jedi must and can come to a heathy balance

but thats a catch 22 because we are truly the only ones who know the answers to those questions...

This is very much where I am feeling lost. How do I bring peace to the world around me without acting? If I act am I precipitating events and even shaping the world by my will. Or is it the will of the Force?

Justice
The second Maxim states this

"Justice: To always seek the path of ‘right’.

A Jedi is unencumbered by bias or personal interest. Justice is a double-edged sword, one that protects the weak, yet also passes judgements according to a set of values. A Jedi tolerates that which is not Jedi and does not pass judgement on that which causes no harm for it is just."


As Jedi, do we focus on justice? Does the idea of being the one who determines what others "deserve" or do not seem to be the common goal of some. To be the JUDGE or the scale of "worthiness"? Is that what the FOCUS of the Jedi is? Revenge? So, I give you this - this week- Do Jedi strive for revenge or a brand of justice? Do we strive to be the judge? Where are the set of values the Jedi hold?

What are your set of values? What brand of justice do the Jedi have? What type do you have? What does it bring? What type of justice does the Force bring? Is there anything else to justice you can add or subtract from it? How does one pass justice AS WELL AS our own brand of acceptance and tolerance? Do we as Jedi know what we will stand for and what we will not?
Are we the Jedi or are we the judges? Is there a difference?

Defense: To defend the way of Jediism.

A Jedi is sworn by oath to defend their faith and all it encompasses.

Defense of our Oaths and each other

Each of us is Jedi

Each of us has made the choice to become one and UNITE under the banner or the Mantel Jedi

We can read in our Doctrine where it says ...

"The Jedi religion is an inspiration and a way of life for many people throughout the world who take on the mantle of Jedi. Jedi apply the principles, ideals, philosophies and teachings of Jediism in a practical manner within their lives. Real Jedi do not worship George Lucas or Star Wars or anything of the sort. Jediism is not based in fiction, but we accept myth as a sometimes more practical means of conveying philosophies applicable to real life. "

Does anyone know what the "MANTEL" means or how it is used here?

To wear a mantel is to PUT ON or TAKE ON or DON willingly the choices or the duties or responsibilities.

To do a duty or job is to take on ones Mantel. For a Jedi, we choose to unite together.

We STRIVE for common ideas.

This is one of the SYMBOLS we use here and as Jedi

The Jedi Robe

What is Jedi ism ? Why does it need to be defended?? Why are we as Jedi kin urged and reminded to keep a watch on our Robes and each other?

One of the things we share as Jedi is the understanding for AID

Our compassion and Zeal for giving a flying Wallenda about the other people in the world and around us UNITES us.

It really does

Jedi ism is the ability to OBSERVE the Force
Jedi ism is based on the OBSERVANCE of the Force

One of our common Focus is the Force

as Jedi we strive for things together and one of them is understanding

In our seek for wisdom and knowledge- we find ourselves next to others

We are fellow PILGRIMS on a path or seek and reflection (edited)

So, to be a Jedi takes much

Being a Jedi isnt easy

it takes time and dedication and a whole lot of reflection.

There is a mix of seek and new and old that can be all at the same time. The POTENTIAL is human and therefore we are ALL on the same level as far as development is concerned.

We wear the mantel of Jedi

The ROBE is the symbol we all use

it doesn't have to be color specific or even a certain shape really
but pretty much the idea is you can tell where the Jedi are by what they look like. Its a Cinematic thing like symbolic colors and tones.

but there is much to this Jedi thing or this unification of strangers.

To better understand something is to take more time with it.

We are Jedi - Understand what is is to be a Jedi

What truly is the great responsibility we have to the world? NONE really - we choose to have a selfless paths and work on our own ego? Where is the duty to others there? There is NONE

OUR DUTYS are those we choose

Which duty's have you chosen for your own path as Jedi?

WHich do we share?

What does your Jedi ism ENCOMPASS ?

This is the question and the idea for this week if you like, what all is under your mantel and why Jedi?

Why Jedi and what is it?

Defend the way of the Jedi.

What's the way?

Take some time to RETURN to your origins.

Jedi are Jedi for certain reasons, we unite under certain ideas, WHICH ONES?

like this is a good conversation but why did you go in and retroactively add ranks? are they really that important at totjo? it comes across as being insecure in yourself, considering we can see your rank as you are the poster.

Sorry for that, when we copy the conversation from Discord to the forum it does that. I can edit that out from now on, to easy. That was not the intention nor was it the focus- sorry it seemed that way. That is not my cup of tea.

Edit after posting: Here, we have rank. We use it to grant access and track progress on site. It is also representative of the responsibility some keep. Rank is not something we give to much attention to but we do hold is as a earned merit. Thats all. Honestly, outside of the realm of programming, access, rank is as valuable as the honor its given. We believe we are inherently equal. Rank is a human construct. Hubris is key to what we as people do around here. The selfless is a path that anyone can take at any time and deny it too. All in all, here, rank can be a tool or a thorn. It IS up to you. May the Force be with you friend and thank you again for the fresh perspective.

Good morning, Jedi everywhere.

It is my privilege and joy to meet with you every Monday in the mornings.

Today I would like to remind every Jedi out there that we have reminders.

Do we as Jedi know the difference between stupidity and courage?

There is one story in particular that has, as a main character, a man named Don Quixote

It is written by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra

When given to our own dignity- it can become somewhat confusing and hard to balance.
One of the main follies in this tale is his interpretation of things.

One of the common follies of a Knight is the fear we have.

We always have a choice in life.

Sometimes those choices which can be our own, are made for us or we release the possession of authority and go with the flow.

Regardless of Avenue we take, as Jedi we can strive for a few common ideas.

One of those avenues is the road to courage and stupidity.

What is wise and what is not wise?

Who has the ability to share that with each other?

There are 3 things can get in our own way.

There are 3 things that can take our courage, ready????

Fear

Regret

and Uncertainty

These three things are always present.

Fear Regret and Uncertainty



" A Jedi knows they must make the right choice, take the right side and that the weak they have sworn to defend often stand alone. "

This is a key moment in every Jedi and HUMANS life.

There may come times we can make decisions for our path and our life's.

It is my hope that through review-study-chit chat- and good old fashion care and meditation, we share with one another enough to be properly AID to one another.

It is scary out there.
Life can get confusing, and we can lose our way by just going to the corner store at times.

The 5TH Maxim is COURAGE

Identify them and recognize what is present.

So many times, I get lost because of my own feelings.

Feelings are a good way to follow the Don Q path of perpetual confusion and disorder.

Who has the RIGHT decisions and oaths for US? Where does that info and flow come from?

I would hope that we all know and remember.



All orders come from the RIDER.



The horse goes where you ride it
or its led

or where its drawn

remind yourself that we all need courage and that we all HAVE it

some of us need to build it

take a few rounds with it

Ride the HORSE of courage, get on it

See where IT takes you.
If it helps- think of courage as a HORSE or a steed or a thing you ride on. Courage can be found if we seek it out

or

it will be out of reach

Really, it is up to us.

So today I give you this.





Find the courage you need.

Make it - seek it - share it - give it - Keep it

Courage can be as a horse we ride or use.

but it ain't a easy gig

We as Jedi strive for things.

One of them is courage.

Not just any brand of not afraid but the ability to do the things we know in us are right.

Chase any ghosts or windmills lately? Does it feel that way? Find the strength to continue and preserver and keep it

Keep going but dont just fight to fight or dont just ride to ride...

The Jedi and the Knight is a symbol we use here often.

Be strong and courageous - as a Jedi - you have made the choice to stand out already -

Striving for goals that are uncommon can be taxing.
Choosing to be a Jedi can bring extra reflections we may be ready for, ready or not-

make your choice to get on

Make your choice to ride the horse of courage.

if you fall off,

get back on.

Learn to ride- the way YOU ride.

There is and can be a very real joy in the fact you are a Jedi and you are the main character of your own path.

There can be peace knowing YOU hold the reins.



Or not.

Be courageous Jedi - you are already on top of the HORSE - half the fear is identification and knowing we need courage for whatever ails us.
For me, uncertainty keeps me from being strong or ridding the "Horse" and living.

Mount up!

Get on the horse.

Keep courage.

One of the BEST ideas someone gave me was the horse and courage.

We must respect and learn from it or it will get us and may hurt us.

It can teach us, and it can even help and AID us (edited)

Courage can even lift us up and create the idea of being above a few things rather than below them or subject to them the same.

It's just all depends on OUR PRACTICE time OUR OWN

You can't lie with a horse - you either know it or you dont and they will know.

Courage is the same way- IT WILL KNOW

and it will keep you harm you or free you or a mix of all the above lol

It is my hope that as we chat and have more time together- we give each other courage.

However we do it,

May courage find you and whatever horse you rode in on.

This is my hope for every Jedi here.

Find the courage or make it but RIDE it- STRIVE for it.

You are not alone in that path.

look around- We all are on something going somewhere.

Courage: To have the will.

To be a Jedi sometimes means choosing the more difficult path, the personally expensive one. A Jedi knows they must make the right choice, take the right side and that the weak they have sworn to defend often stand alone. A Jedi puts aside fear, regret, and uncertainty yet knows the difference between courage and sheer stupidity.

Strive for it.
