Jediism and family reaction

And it took me several years before I realized that I was the common denominator in the equation.
My solution is to talk to people on an individual basis, I get a long great with most individuals, ones that are hostile the argument is nipped in the bud and ended.
However in a group the dynamics change, and a lynch mob mentality forms. When several people who are hostile to what I am presenting start banging the war drums, even people that might find it interesting join the lynch mob.
Speaking to people individually is the best solution, that I've been able to come up with so far to prevent this.

Often times, we are not afforded the luxury of speaking to just the individual and addressing larger groups becomes necessary… then that skill might benefit you. Far be it from me to suggest anyone need to do something, I just found that it has helped me.

Nah, not interested, thanks though.
Sometimes the only winning move is not to play.
