If you take Star Wars Jedi as an example, there are many creatures that are Force sensitive, it just humans. I would imagine it to be the same with animals!
However I believe while animals can be Force sensitive, it could be harder for them to actually learn the ways of the Force or the Jedi. This is partly because they cannot understand us and cannot be taught. I believe it also depends on the intelligence of the animal too, much like it depends on the intelligence of a human wishing to learn the ways of the Force.
However if we were to take an intelligent animal that could understand us, then yes, no difference to a human.

That is less about "prediction" and more about sensitivity. Animals are more likely to be able to see changes/warning signs imperceptible to humans.

Yes.
But we are animals with a higher level of self-awareness and sentience.
As far as we know anyhow...

How do you come to that conclusion? Star Wars is a fictitious creation so I'm not sure how you can equate that to any sort of real life expression of ability?
