Lifehackers- Naptime

http://lifehacker.com/tag/naps
Your thoughts? Do you guys/dolls take naps? Personally, I take them rarely but I quite like them. I think it's also a little like meditation to quiet your mind as you have one,

Almost every day... On the weekends, we have an 'unofficial' naptime of 1:30... LOL.. Me and the Mrs, that is...
Sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes 2 hours, lol...
Love them all...

But those 2 hour ones really make going to bed a tough job, lolol...
On walk-about...

Your web link very much reminded me of bi and polyphasic sleeping patterns. I'm going to be attempting a polyphasic sleeping pattern beginning on September 23rd because I will, for the first time in my life, be in a scenario where I will have a perfect opportunity to do so. Are you familiar with this sleeping method/pattern?

Another good way to make a good nap is to have a light breakfast and a late lunch. I find that I have insufficient energy to properly stay awake and digest the lunch, making a post-lunch nap quite easy and a deep dream state. A good analogy for this would be blowing out a candle flame with your breath.

It is true, Ren, that this retired practice is where the phrase you have mentioned comes from. We, as humans, are also animals. How many animals can you think of that have a monophasic sleeping pattern other than us? I honestly feel as though it is unhealthy for us in long term practice, and the vast majority of the human population go their entire life without breaking from this practice. In my short period when I was able to sleep a shorter period for my major phase and then supplement that with a couple of naps throughout the day I did sleep less total hours but felt wholly more refreshed and awake throughout my waking periods.

If I could trick my brain chemistry into this, it would rooooock.
