I would love to be able to just sleep/nap when ever I got tired and not have a set schedual. I think it would be awesome and I wonder what kind of sleep pattern would develope?

But yes, I take naps. LOVE them! I wish I got to take more naps! :D

I have that. It is completely terrible, causes ridiculous amounts of mental and physical fatigue, screws up any semblance of a social life one might want, and in general, wreaks havoc on my productivity.

0/10. would not suggest.

Jehur-
I did know of these other sleeping patterns, but haven't ever really tried them out. Nethertheless I am more determined after reading some of the posts here to have more naps instead of the usual- practically none, :p Good luck with your new sleeping pattern, maybe post again here after you've started to see whether you notice a great difference in the time that you're awake?
Adder-
Funnily enough,

Another good way to make a good nap is to have a light breakfast and a late lunch. I find that I have insufficient energy to properly stay awake and digest the lunch, making a post-lunch nap quite easy and a deep dream state.

Today I had a very late and large lunch and felt a great need for a nap. It wasn't very long, only 20 minutes and not really sleeping properly but I did feel quite a bit better afterwards anyway!
Wescli- That article you posted is awesome. Thankyou very much, :)

I actually nap nearly every day. Drowsiness is simply a side-effect of some medication I'm on. I usually sleep for a couple hours each morning and feel very refreshed when I wake up around noon. I wish I didn't have to though, because I don't like missing 2 hours of the day.

This is precisely what I was speaking of previously.

Nonetheless, here is a resource for any and all who are interested in experimenting with polyphasic sleep (and as I also previously said, I will begin this in a little over a week from today).

I love naps!! Theres something really nice about that slipping into sleep feeling you get from napping that you dont have with "normal" sleep.

And oddly I find that I get to sleep much faster when I nap and I dream more vividly.
