Unique Interests
There were 2 Star Wars rpgs: the first one came out in the late 80's, i think, and was a d6 system. The new one was by WotC (who owns D&D), and was a d20 offering.
Actually, there are now 4 versions of Star Wars RPG
1 - 1987 to 1999 - West End Games - d6 version
2 - 2000 revised 2002 to 2007 - Wizards of the Coast - d20 version
3 - 2007 to 2011 Saga Edition - Wizards of the Coast - d20
4 - 2012 to present - Fantasy Flight Games - new dice characters

Husband has read through it and it seems AWESOME. The 'tester' came out late last year but the full game came out a month or two ago. We have the set and the core rule book but haven't had a chance to run it. I'm too busy writing the current Pathfinder campaign haha.

I'd like to start a thread here for sharing interests in music, movies, tv shows, games or other such entertainment. The "rule" I would like to put into effect is that what you share should be something that you think very few people would know about.
Simply post the title of what it is and mayhaps a few details to make it sound enticing to others.
This thread is not meant for debating the quality of each suggestion, it is merely meant to be a list of suggestions where you can find something you might never have come across anywhere else.
The first thing on this list will be my first suggestion.
Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
This internet featured comedy, with main actor Neil Patrick Harris, is about a villain's aspirations to gain entrance into the Evil League of Evil and take over the world one heist at a time while trying both to avoid his nemesis Captain Hammer and get the girl of his dreams Penny. He describes his successes, and failures, all in his video blog he posts for all to see. Includes several songs and takes place in three acts.
May the Force be with you,
Rai

Doctor Phineas Waldolf Steel was a self-published American musician and internet personality from Los Angeles. He performed on rare occasions with a "backup band", claiming that a fictitious robot band had malfunctioned. Shows incorporated puppetry, multimedia and performances by female members ("Nurses" and "Scouts") of his street team, The Army of Toy Soldiers

Not at all! that's simply the most common type so far.
Garwa Mayharr - I miss Doctor Steel. Also, on the same line of thinking, are you a Beats Antique fan?
Or, perhaps, a casual enjoyer of Steam-Powered Giraffe?

I group all of the WotC offerings together, because technically the Saga Edition was the same game with a few reworked mechanics and new splat. It's kind of like how 3.5 D&D is often considered a separate edition than 3.0, but they're really the same thing with a few rules tweaks. I had not, however, heard of the FFG version. Now I must play it.Phortis Nespin wrote: Actually, there are now 4 versions of Star Wars RPG
