Unique Interests

Hello all, or all who end up reading anyways

I'd like to start a thread here for sharing interests in music, movies, tv shows, games or other such entertainment. The "rule" I would like to put into effect is that what you share should be something that you think very few people would know about.

Simply post the title of what it is and mayhaps a few details to make it sound enticing to others.

This thread is not meant for debating the quality of each suggestion, it is merely meant to be a list of suggestions where you can find something you might never have come across anywhere else.

The first thing on this list will be my first suggestion.

Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

This internet featured comedy, with main actor Neil Patrick Harris, is about a villain's aspirations to gain entrance into the Evil League of Evil and take over the world one heist at a time while trying both to avoid his nemesis Captain Hammer and get the girl of his dreams Penny. He describes his successes, and failures, all in his video blog he posts for all to see. Includes several songs and takes place in three acts.

Bleach, it's a manga and anime which follows the teenager ichigo kurosaki. A boy (spoiler alert) who's mother was a quincy (human with special powers for fighting evil spirits known as hollows) infected with the powers of an arrancar (a hollow's final evolved form), and his father was a soul reaper captain (spirits charged with the duty of cleansing hollows and guiding spirits to the soul society) ...

Naruto, another manga and anime which follows a child that has a demon fox sealed within him shortly after birth as he grows into an adult chasing his dream to become his villages leader...as he grows he learns to harness and transform this sinister source of power into a powerful tool to protect all those he cares about...

I can't go ANYWHERE in America without people shouting at my Urahara green hat "OMG YOU WATCH BLEACH??".

Lol you'd be surprised at how many people I encounter that don't know about it....most of them are younger than me...

Too bad it was cancelled and we'll never get to watch the "thousand years bloodwar arc"...and the twin zangetsus look too cool....

Hahahaha, I've heard a song or two from that one on Pandora musical comedy radio! Never seen it though.

My contribution has got to be Bad Religion. They're an 80s-90s punk rock band from LA. Their sound is traditional punk, gritty and fast-paced but their lyrics are very intellectual. They often discuss politics and their lyrics have religious overtones quite often as well.

Unique for whom? Everything is unique from a certain point of view. Shoot, most of the stuff I do, my parents don't even understand! They usually just smile and nod.

Hrm...for our generation this is unique: I sew. I've made quilts and clothing. Costumes. Most of my work lately are embroidered dice bags.

Ooo! I make chainmaille too. Ring by ring by ring, weiving metal into fabric.

Pathfinder! I get asked about this all the time. It's a table-top role-playing game like 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons, just a little different rule set. Cooperative Story Telling. You have one Game Master who runs the campaign, then people playing individual characters. I'm currently running a campaign of my own creation, my players JUST hit the major turn in the story...it just gets harder from there *muahahahaha* What, do you think Bad Horse didn't work on his whinny? His terrible death-whinny?

lol. It wasn't canceled.

Bleach is one of the highest rated television shows in the anime world globally. It's only second really to Naruto. And, even then...

It was ended for two reasons: 1. The last arc isn't finished yet. and, 2. The ratings were very low for the Fullbringer arc.

That being said: If TV ratings go up in the next year or so, and the manga is SUPER awesome, then I have very little doubt that it will be brought back.
