Im simply of the mind that something doesnt need to come from a deity, or such to be a miracle.
I see miracles unfold everyday.
Hell, I half participated in the creation of one myself, my son.
Now, I could give credit to God for making sperm(I dont), but if I find out hes sleeping with my wife, theres gonna be some problems.

While I'm really enjoying this thread and I don't really want to weigh in on the spirituality side of this (if you find a miracle in this and it gives you some inner peace or motivates you to be more compassionate or whatever, awesome).
“The significance is hiding in the insignificant. Appreciate everything.”
Eckhart Tolle (for Jestor)
I feel like I need to add something to the idea of causing harm Alethea and Abhaya brought up. Aphids/Tree lice are a bane for Gardeners and Farmers everywhere. They are exceedingly well evolved in that they can migrate huge distances, breed rapidly, and can destroy crops and bushland just as quickly.
After watching the video I looked up the churches location and it is right in the middle of several parks, residential gardens and a couple of community garden projects.
Right to worship vs the damage caused to the local parks and community gardens, and the probable increased chemical usage of the people living there...
Seems to me the harm caused by allowing this infestation to continue, outweighs the right to worship leaky trees, personally the miracle to me is that poor Laggy still being alive through all this.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't think harmful bugs should be left there. But even once the tree is removed, I'm sure those people will go on telling others about their spiritual experience. And that in itself isn't harming anyone. And of course they can try to save the tree because people have a right to advocate for whatever they want. They most likely won't succeed anyway. Now if they resort to violence to save the tree, that's when it goes too far and become a problem. But we can't stop people from doing anything just because it could escalate. We'd never be allowed to do anything.
