So it's as I pointed out you're letting your own negative experiences control your perspective....

As are you.

I'm not the one condemning anything....I've had negative experience with alcoholics, but I'm not saying we should make it illegal and punish those that use it....so I'm not letting my negative experiences control anything...

I did not call you a liar. I simply have an issue with your lack of facts. Experience based on a tiny tiny TINY portion of the population does not constitute a fact.

Have you been listening? I've been on both extremes of the fence, on one side, with young pothead punks who aren't worth the .22 bullet it would take to get rid of them, to a country where weed possession can get one caned or hanged. Trust me, the grass is greenest where the people possessing it get penalized.

If its so great there, then why did youcome back?...why not stay there...or just go back there if it made you soooo happy

Career reasons. Didn't want to raise my kid in a country where she is the racial minority.

So then it was racial prejudice then....

Call it what you like. If I had any prejudice against Malays, I wouldn't have gone there in the first place.

Perhaps you should be looking at why those people are resorting to drug use, rather than attributing the various social and economic factors to the drug use itself. People will always find a way around law. Always. The law is not working. It has not worked for many many years and as a result has squandered billions because people like you think that making something illigal will solve the problem. Show me actual evidence that it works.

Refering to once living in Malaysia as your evidence doesnt really help your case when you see that around two thirds of all drug use over there is with heroine and Methamphetamines (Both of which are far worse than weed) and that the incidence of drug use is increasing year on year dispite the harsh laws.

Well that escalated quickly.

I think the important thing to remember is that we can't protect everyone from everything. Weed is illegal in many places, yet it is still used and still causes problems in some cases. So clearly making it illegal isn't doing such a great job. I think legalizing drugs would help free up resources to be spent on other problems.

If I was a libtard, I would take the first part of that as a racist joke about Malays. :)

In reality, me and the girl are listening to some Saga, if that answers your question.

I'm sorry, I cannot get behind any permissive attitude toward weed. I have seen it do more horrible stuff than alcohol ever did. I know what it does. And the sad part is, even with weed being illegal, I can't totally avoid it. I make it clear to people that I don't want to see it or be around it. I do my best to avoid it, but still, I see it at least once a week. I shudder to think how it would be if it was legal. Neither do I want my kid growing up around it.

Understand that none of you have to justify your hedonism to me, just understand that I have had enough of potheads. I've turned two in this past week. I regularly tip off cops about dealers that I know of. I just want to be free of such stupidity.

I am a racialist, yes. If that means racist to you, then sorry you've been watching too much Nickelodeon and Oprah.

EDIT: I also want my kid to speak English and Ukrainian, not Malay. If she chooses to reproduce, I want my grandkids to look like me. There is no hatred involved in this.
