I’m really not interested in having a debate about which country is “more evil” based on policies, structure and groups I had no hand in forming or shaping. That’s like saying, “your neighborhood is more evil then mine because your neighbor did this.”

If that were the case then I would win. Saturday afternoon my neighbor stopped by and told me that they were going to be throwing a party that evening. They asked if I would mind and informed me that they would try and keep the noise down. They then asked if I would like to join them. (I didn’t) And their party was over about 0100. I would think that most kids would just do whatever and hope the cops didn’t show up! Hahahhahaha :P

Kids will be kids, and as far as kids go, they’re pretty good kids. ;)

The important thing is what we decide to do with the hand we have been dealt. Point a finger across the table and accusing people is not going to resolve an issue, only escalate it. I only mentioned the DGSE to illustrate that no country was perfect. Rather the rest of the world thinks the government, the people or the place I live is evil or not, I still live here. It is my home and has been the home of my family for many generations. We do our best to effect change in a positive manor and help all those who ask. If the sum of a country can be judged by the people that make it up, then the ones I have met and live by cause me to believe that this is a pretty good place to be. ;)

Please. My neighbors are waay more evil than yours. The other day, one of them flipped my dog off while driving past listening to gangsta rap

Side: that really happened, but he's actually really cool. And agree with wes that what country a person happens to be born in has little to no relevance to that persons moral character.

Oh, I just re-read what I wrote... :side:

When I wrote...

If that were the case then I would win.

I was refering to my neighborhood being less evil.

Wow, did I get that to sound wrong!

hahhahahha :woohoo:

sundex sky wrote: Hi guy's, after work last night i was invited to a small party at a friend of a friends house, I was pretty tired and sore after a hard day, we had been removing troublesome thorn bushes from a country lane, i had on two pairs of gloves but those thorns sure got through lol! I wasn't really feeling it but allowed myself to get talked into it as i feel i should try to interact with my colleagues a little more.
Now i don't know if it was my face or my size ( i'm 5'11, 14.5 stone, work outdoors and i am usually found head to toe in some sort of animal defecation lol!) But not long after i had arrived (i had done my usual check of the area, distinguishing familiar faces from non familiar faces) A guy approached me and my friend and was asking my friend who i was, where i was from , how long we had known each other, all the while looking me up and down like i was some potential lunatic waiting for the moment to unleash the crazy.
As the night went on and they all started to drink a little more, this guy decided to start asking really personal questions, audible for the rest of the party. "you smell like shit, don't you wash?" "is that what you where for a party?" I just smiled and played the ole too dumb to give a crap routine.
Every time i would attempt to converse with somebody he would appear and say something belittling about me to whoever i was talking to. I really started to get wound up, and started to play with the idea of offering this nice chap outside for a little fisty cuffs. he was about 6'2, probably a little younger than me and in all honesty a mean looking so and so.
I decided to just leave and go home, this was probably the wisest option for me, but i really feel i should of just slotted him there and then.
Would this make me as bad? or would it have been the coolest put down ever? I think i was right in just leaving, but you know how it is. Have you guys ever experienced the Alpha male syndrome? and how do you think is the best way to deal with such a person??

Dealing with alpha's can be annoying. Apparently I can come across as an alpha. I'm really not an alpha. I just don't care if I'm the top dog out of a very inconsequential group of people. Congratulations to all that do and are, from the most sincerest point of my heart, I promise that we all geniuinely respect and admire you XD.

I mean we can all agree that I'm a joker, right? I like to make people laugh. WhY? I saw I liked laughing, other people did too, so I wanted to make them laugh more. That's really how I get anywhere with social stuff.

Not that I do it to all alpha males but if they're gonna be a cockhead. I'll make fun of them, just a joke or a weird self depricating condescension. Does it work?

God no!....but at least I get a laugh

for fox sake, how many places did you post this stupid comment?

Yeah yeah, I know I shouldn't be hostile and all that... but you gotta admit it is a little crapfacing seeing this in almost every one of Avner's comment sections, spammed in chat and now submitted like it's a bloody serious contribution to a discussion...

I know I've replied in this thread a while back, but I'm too tired to go back through it...

To me alpha's are an annoyance, but also a good source of humor...where else can you watch some insecure person make a complete @$$ of themself...from experience every "alpha" I've met has been easy for me to cur...I don't consider myself an alpha...nor do I consider myself inferior to anyone...most alphas are all bark no bite...all show no go...their fight or flight frequently favors flight...mine favors fight...alphas are just bullies...stand your ground against them and they usually back down...

We are all Alpha in our own way. It just doesn't need to be pushed onto others. Ladies too.

I spoke in this thread too, lol, but I enjoy talking, lol...

No Ryu, "poser alpha's" are the annoyance....

Lol...

True Alphas are just leaders, the people who others turn to, and people know thatbthe alpha will do their best....

And, a true alpha doesn't mind taking orders (requests, lol) from another alpha, but in the absence of a leader, he/she will step up...

An alpha doesn't go around announcing he/she is one...

But, if you stop, and take stock, they stand out...:)
