Are you addressing the Temple as in the organisation or The Temple as in the people? (they are actually different)

For the latter, no I do not at all believe that they are healed by anything more than a placebo effect

You can believe either way if you want, we are not really fussed

I am here because I believe. Not because I know. I enjoyed McTaggert not as a source of immutable, infallible knowledge but as a nice story. It had its own lessons and it didn't have to prove anything to me. It is not harmful to believe in the unlikely or unproven. It is impractical to act on it. You will never find an explanation spoken that isn't approached from a narrow point of view because it was conceived by the very same. The strong point here for me is to find the things we have in common and celebrate them. Pointing out flaws in each others logic is even a game, based on the joke that none of us actually knows anything, we just think we do.

We can't disprove the possibility, can you?

If someone is sick, we send our thoughts, which, like a Christian praying to God...

Is there harm in sending thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery?

Jedi ain't Saints....

Rugadd, I'm just trying to find out who you are as an organized group. Sure you can look at mctagert as poetry, but she is trying to pass it off as science. I'm not looking to argue or insult I'm just trying to figure out if I belong here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Temple doesn't have official stances on this sort of thing, do they? Don't we encourage people to find out for themselves?
