There is truth in that. I just wouldn't say "ALL" people.

As to the ball player/ team analogy... If a team decides to hire a known cheater who has no remorse about cheating and continues to cheat maybe you should switch allegiances

That's the point. We put in that reading to see if you're fooled by it. It's not a teaching of The Order. Personally I've been wanting to substitute What is Zen? (by Alan Watts) for some time.
