Personally, I don't. At least not in the sense that we need to follow everything he taught us about Jedi life. What I do care about are the ideas that inspired me to follow a spiritual life. I couldn't list them individually, but I tend to think that the Force (or whatever you want to call it) inspired Lucas to write a story that would teach us about spirituality.

I don't think saying 'he taught us' really represents the situation so well...
I don't think Lucas 'taught' anything. He is a movie-producer and director... he made a story, inspired from previous sources but I don't think he was ever a 'teacher'
He showed a way that people in this [fictional] universe lived, but it was us who took that idea and made it real

Lucas taught us that falling to the Dark Side causes fat necks. And that to make money you need loads of teddy bears, change the storyline for the dvd release, and change the storyline again for the bluray release.
I am sure the wisdom of his words will ruin the movie industry for centuries to come.

In all fairness, Ren, Lucas wasn't the first person to employ such marketing tactics. There have been countless movies with "extended scenes", "added footage", and "alternate endings" available on DVD that were not available in the original theatrical release. As for the "teddy bears", you think Lucas invented the concept of marketing to children? No, he didn't change the movie industry from a marketing perspective, he's just capitalizing on the innovations of others.

Are you being sarcastic, Des? (in a text format people should be required to indicate sarcasm thru the use of "bazinga" or something
)
The question was rhetorical, I didn't really think that Ren thought Lucas actually invented anything. lol Heck...Lucas didn't even invent the concept of Jedi or the Force...
