The scene is a winter evening, the ground, frozen hard, is being covered by the heavily falling snow. There is a North cold wind driving the snow on. We are in a pasture where a cow, oblivious to the weather, is standing there by the fence, just content being a cow.

Here we see a little bird, suffering miserably from the cold. He can no longer fly, due to the cold and the wind, and is hopping lethargically near to the cow, just trying in vain to find some shelter from the biting wind and gathering snow. The cow, looking back, notices the little bird and thinks to herself : "This poor little bird, he will surely freeze to death if he cannot get warm quickly."

She knew that she was too big to lie down over the little bird - she would crush him. So, thinking of the only thing she could possibly do to warm him up, she took a step back and 'plop', she shit squarely all over the little bird.

At first, the little bird was a bit shocked by this new situation ... he didn't even realise that he was warm. "Oh, look at what has happened to me, look at what she did to me !" lamented the little bird. "How could she have done such a thing, when I was already so cold and miserable ?"

Just then, a fox comes along and hears the little bird's complaints. "You're so right," said the fox, "that mean old cow has really done you a dirty turn. Let me help you out of that and get you cleaned up !"

Now we all know what Monsieur the Fox had for dinner that night.

The moral to the story : to put someone in the shit is not necessarily to do them harm. To get someone out of the shit is not necessarily to do them well.

Be a philosopher ; but, amidst all your philosophy, be still a man.
~ David Hume

Chaque homme a des devoirs envers l'homme en tant qu'homme.

A little lesson: Part of the dark aspect's teaching is about being realistic. Being realistic, I hope the fox cleaned the little bird first.

How pathetic Sithism must be if its authenticity stands and falls on one person. Sounds like Moorism more than Sithism. As to what the real Sith communities are or not, these are statement made for people who just can`t think for themselves.

Hmm,lineage being important is hardly pathetic. It is pathetic to want to know where something comes from? Though I wouldnt say it falls on one person, there is a sense of history within the evolution of the Darkside. Theres a saying that the Darkside stands on tradition, but isnt bound by it.

In fact , in may cases its common sense to know where things come from.Regarding evolution of a path, its important simply in knowing your not regurgitating and confusing it with evolving. You only notice evolution by the past and its changes.

That said, martial arts schools and styles, etc suffer from McCdojos cropping up because noone researches where something comes from. They are not the only type of buissness or organizations that do though. People are often duped into fly by night charities(as well as other organizations) and such without doing proper research into its history.
Of course, it seems quality control is not as important among Jedi as it is Sith apparently.

As for not being able to think for themselves, sure they can. One can choose quality or not. Lol, and just because one has chosen quality does not mean they do not have a voice. We simply dont suffer fools, well, at least unintelligent fools, haha.

I would suggest anyone seeking out studies of the Darkside do the research, and pay attention to where lasing communities with a myriad of individuals have congregated and remained as teachers, and guides , read the works, pay attention to the quality of the students, as it speaks of something more being offered there.

This is just intelligent thinking and being mindful, and wanting to get the best you can for the time you intend to spend in a given path.

That said, there were several, several more Darkside communities in the past then there are currently. However more, did not necessarily equate to better, quality over quantity is something I do happen to agree with.
