Oh really? I do notice a title of "knight" next to your name, which means this site does indeed invest a certain amount of responsibility in your views. And that you have undergone "training". As to what None but you can know, apperently.

So what you are basically saying is that I could indeed reach knighthood here at this site through following the sith teachings?

I am neither an administrator nor a moderator. I have never trained a student, and have only just become a Knight. I am not a leading authority on TotJO policies, and I am not on the Council, so no, I do not speak for TotJO.

As to your question, I would say yes. You can follow whichever path you choose in practice, and choose to follow the Jedi path in a theoretical capacity (with a focus on academics, rather than codes of morality and discipline), much like quantum mechanics is theoretical.

I don't know how many questions you have, but I am not going to indulge your non sequitur tangents anymore. If you have any questions, send me a private message, I would love to help you out. But this isn't the place to debate your views on my views of Temple policy.

As you will.

I do not follow sith teachings, but I do wish to understand knighthood at the temple and what it means to be a knight here.

It's up to you. Becoming a Knight here is much like becoming an adult in the Catholic church; you are in charge of yourself (barring the mandates set by the Council). You are free to study whatever you'd like at any time, but as a Knight, you have the right to take an apprentice and teach them whatever you feel they need to know. A large part of the path is self discovery; you will find new systems of belief and test them against alternative beliefs. But there is a line between Jedi and Sith, and while you can practice both, we don't recognize Sith ranks here, and we don't train Sith.

That very well may be true, but I have yet to see where it says that you do not. So far what i have gathered is that you can train as a sith here under the name of jedi if that is what you desire to do.

You can do whatever you'd like. Again, if you want to study Sith teachings while studying to be a Jedi, that is your choice and your right.

I am speaking from years of experience when I say that we don't recognize Sith ranks here, and that we don't train Sith. You could be a Sith Master at TotSO or wherever you train, but if you are new here, then are a novice, not a Master. If I want to be a physicist, that does not mean that I can't study biology, or art history, as well. If you can find someone qualified to teach you Sithism, and have the interest in studying in it, go ahead. But it is not part of your training (under teachers here) and it is not something that TotJO offers.

I don't see anything that prohibits it. What determination do you use to say which teachings are those of the jedi and those of the sith?

I am NOT saying that TotJO prohibits it. What I am saying is that TotJO does not offer it. Certain teachers might be able to offer you insights into Sithism, but we cannot train you be the Sith equivalent of a Jedi Knight; it is not a rank that we offer here. Again, you are free to study whatever you'd like, but there is very little assistance, if any, that TotJO would be able or willing to provide to all members with regards to Sithism.
