Marriage is a personal thing and if both people in a relationship want to get married, that's their choice! No one has the right to destroy that choice for them by abolishing it.
April 2014 I'm getting married and I can't wait! :woohoo:

I can't agree more Seraph Arel. A free choice in a free world. I'm getting married August 10th, 2013 and I am thrilled about it.

For those who have given up on marriage that is more than OK as long as you haven't given up on love.

I've thought about the tax implications of marriage, and I'm now convinced giving married people a tax break is wrong... It's like telling people who are single (and may not even choose to be) that they deserve to pay more tax. Same kind of segregation as white people pay 10% income tax, black and tanned people pay 30%.

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

I have just celebrated my 5th Anniversary yesterday. I love everyday i spend with my wife. I know not all marriages are the best and many get married for the wrong reason, but as it has already been said, it is their own choice.

I look forward to a long and happy life (and afterlife) with my wife.

To those who are getting married soon, i hope you enjoy a long happy life with your love as well.

April 2014??

Wow. That's a long time to wait.

Sorry, I'm used to shotgun marriages that happen with a few weeks...I used to be Mormon, haha.

i would like to get married but i think that my future husband would have to pass a little test first. in my opinion, if the man cant help clean, cook or even make room in the bed for my toys then he is not the guy for me. i love my toys.
but really, its a mixed opinion thing. if your truly happy together then great. i love weddings. but if you know its going to end bad then dont bother. its an attachment, takes you off the focuse of reality. that leads to upset and suspition and alsort which leads to the darkside. you probly dont want to end up as Anakin skywalker hahaha. i agree with seraph arel. one person cant ruin something amazing for the rest. they have no right.
Anyway congrats Seraph Arel for your special day in 2 years time:) i hope you live long happy lives with your new partner.
