Rank Names and Are They Important

A hard thing for this Jedi is to find all what all I have and need and then after all that time and training and finding and not finding and finding the wrong things to get hurt and learn from it and all that to me when I first began .... All that ... And some stranger came in and said me too.... Dude that blew my Jedi robe wrong . This is just me . I speak for this Jedi . I am now in a place where I look for those ... Me too s and begin .... Who what where when how sup before you know it I find out we are not much different. The more I study and talk to people the more I realize we Kinna have the same questions and the same worries and fears. Then for me it becomes ... No contest . You are! We are ! Lets begin. That's the focus I choose every day. Some of our choises can be made by ourselfs. Being jedi is tough. Every definition is gunna be difrent , it has to be. Then that's the point I reached and then , well then it was .... Welcome Jedi! I think , my own opinion .... The label Jedi can hinder or help like any label , which do we use it for Temple???? May the Force be with us as we walk this path together !

Can we also just admit that some of us are title-collectors as long as those titles mean something? I am always on the search for new titles to add to myself (provided I've actually earned them), and that's not a bad thing as long as you aren't just going through the motions. Rank helps with that, I think. That milestone-celebrating, rite-of-passage kind of thing.

I also think it's important to remember that while there's a bit of an "insider-outsider" line between guests and members, we aren't choosing who's on which side of that line. Each individual chooses for themselves.

I've just had a thought about this, that I figured I'd share. I only access the Temple through my phone, and the mobile site doesn't include rank banners. I don't know anyone's rank unless I go check out their profile, or it comes up in conversation. I'm not suggesting the desktop site be bannerless as well, but it might be an interesting exercise for people who feel ranks play a divisive role here to visit on a mobile device for a while.
