I'll sign on for a second tour.
Owing to recent (and severe) bouts of depression (potentially PTSD) I'm making it my goal to focus on self-care for a while. Simply put, I can't continue being everything to everyone as I would wish if I don't remember to top up my own tank every now and again.
For the next 30 days I will be taking 30 minutes of my day do do something for me, un-apologetically.
Some possibilities are:
Day 1: Today I spent 30 minutes clearing unnecessary clutter from my desk area (where I like to retreat from the world at times). 30 minutes was just enough to see how good it can be when it's done and also to see that this might be my focus for the next couple of days.

Some possibilities are:
- Go for a walk/run
- Meditation/mindfulness
- De-cluttering my living spaces (and thus my mind)
- Continuing the IP
- Learning a musical instrument.

What has to come ? Will my heart grow numb ?
How will I save the world ? By using my mind like a gun
Seems a better weapon, 'cause everybody got heat
I know I carry mine, since the last time I got beat

Do not look for happiness outside yourself. The awakened seek happiness inside.

Day 1: 20 minutes of meditation, zero refined sugar. Feeling good so far! Did 96 push-ups last night (in 5 series), so day of rest today in that department.

Day 2: Went for a 35 minute "run" this morning before work. Session 2 of a Couch to 5k program so more walking than running, but I was outside and moving which progress.
