A question for the Order and the Council was created by
Being new to this, I have a very important question:
What is the opinion as well as the official stance on the LGBT community?
All answers and opinions are welcome in response to this. I truly and respectfull wish to know.

Yes I did read that and understand it. I like to see how people respond as individuals as in, part of an open discussion forum. I've been to churches that have publicly stated they welcome to LGBT community, then once arrived found out it is not the case. Just another political stunt. Not to say that TotJO is any similar to that, I just like to see responses when the question is legitimately asked.
In retrospect I should have said a question for everyone, not just the council.

That I can agree with. Forceing others (or attempting to) to do anything goes against my beliefs, and that includes trying to get them to believe what I believe

To be blunt about the issue, or lack thereof, I don't really care how people live their lives as long as it doesn't hurt other people for no good reason

It has been my experience that it is a non-issue here.

The beliefs of "the Order" are as stated in the "Jedi Believe" section
But, if you're asking about individual responses, then I can speak for myself as an individual member of TotJO. I'm a member of the LGBT community and fully accepting of others within it.

As a transgender person myself, I have never had any issues. In fact there has been a few conversations in the forums about LGBTQ issues. When those pop up (very infrequently) people conduct themselves with respect. I think you will find the TOTJO community to be more curious rather than judgmental.
