Being a jedi makes us weak?

It doesn't make us weak, it makes us flexible.

A Jedi Knight bends in the wind, weathers the storm, stands straight in the calm and turns a delicate face to the sun/starlight.

When we are angry, we are angry ... and it is undeniable. 'Tis likewise when we love.

Why is love in bold and italicized lettering as opposed to anger?

Emphasis of importance?

Why?

No, no, Khaos ...

... only intonation (minus the sound) emphasis. Not "importance" emphasis ...

Anger and Love come in the same pot. Potage aigre-doux, naturellement ...

i think the real question is "what makes people strong?"

you have to have respect for individual differences but ultimately we are all built on the same template

what does it mean to be strong and how does a person get there?

People are complicated.

It's pretty simple : flexibility to bend (just enough to get out of the way), and love enough to have something to get angry about ...

Probably anything can make us weak if we have an unhealthy attachment to it.

I know sometimes I've made the mistake of wanting something, only to interrupt myself to think "is it right for me to want this? Is it the Jedi thing to do?". More often than not, the assumptions I've attached to the Jedi label simply mess up what would otherwise be a very honest and uncomplicated inner dialogue.

That's like if someone would start a discussion here titled "how can I make more money?" and then having others derail the topic by asking whether wanting money in the first place is a good idea.

The optimist expects it to change;
The realist adjusts the sails.

The problem you are running into here is trying to stop the flow of the Force. You see as you said there are light and dark sides to the Force and both of them are natural however if you stand as a stone in the river trying to block either one, like water they will wear you down and break you. However acting as a fish in the water and flowing with it, you can go much further.

One cannot eliminate the dark without destroying all in existence. The reason I say this is that if there is a single object that exists it will create shadow and thus the dark. So it is better to acknowledge the reality that it will always exist. A Jedi seeks to master themselves both light and dark aspects. However, we also recognize that there is far more danger to the dark then the light side of the Force. For example, if I am controlled by blind love yes I might get hurt by those trying to take advantage of me but that is far less damaging than blind rage can be.

Even in Star Wars anger and dark side things are used by Jedi but only successfully by very powerful and wise Jedi. For example, Master Mace Windu rode a love of battle that was a knife edge between light and dark and anyone else who tried his fighting style fell to darkness. Further, there is a form of light side Force lightning that is called Emerald Lightning it is forbidden to be used by any but a Jedi Master. The reason being is it takes a righteous fury to power it and such an emotion easily falls to the sadistic desire to hurt someone that powers dark side lightining.

So you see it's not that a Jedi is weak and ignores the dark side. It's that we know its dangers and how hard it is to master. Sometimes in the desire to master that aspect we fall victim to the extremes of ignoring it but that is a mistake of training not a flaw in the path itself. Or to put it in a real world perspective the dark side is like a firearm its very very dangerous and can hurt people very easily. However if mastered and in the right hands it can save lives or be an enjoyable sport.

The jedi have balance, inner peace, they dont carenof what other people think, but i belive in some cases we need some of the dark to help us, anger gives us power in some cases, thinking about what other people think about us make us be better, we need ambition in our lifes, are the jedi path making us weak in some aspects?

Don't get stuck on the idea that TotJO created the sun in your system. I might argue that certain things about this website's version might make you weak, but that is all. Even then the weakness was your choice.

I dont think you should let anything "create the sun in your system" , you should create your own sun , websites get pulled down , people die , philosophies change , and only you make the choice to let it weaken you or make you stronger. People need to get stronger from the inside , if they need hate or love is really irrelivant to their strenght. And as much as i love becoming stronger , i try not to rely on my circumstances or surroundings to much in doing so , i try to tap into the Force inside my core and work from there.

Emotions are just another sense for you to feel the experience. There are no good or bad emotions. Emotions are natural, a connection to the force. The only good or bad are the decisions we make and even those are personally relevant.
