Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones...

Khaos, we're not even talking about "a jedi does this and not that", we're talking about humanity. If we can't even show compassion for each other, how can we hope to extend that compassion to those outside our community?
It's a no-brainer. The golden rule: love others as you would have them love you.
Treat others how they want to be treated

Passion, yet serenity.
This is an opportunity for each of us to reflect on what happened and learn what we can from it. Each of us should do that personally. This is not a time to point fingers and it isn't productive. Individuals can PM each other if need be, but otherwise we're just picking at a wound.

I did not get the impression anyone was pointing fingers , and for some these incidents seem to be reoccuring and than its good to discuss them here , may it be a bit heated on some ends

It's so vague that it practically makes no sense.
No offense, but I think we all just need to lighten up a little.
It's Saturday, I'm going outside. Bleh. Thanks anyway.

I wasn't there, but based on that post (and basically hearing the same thing repeated to me after the fact in chat), I can understand what happened. Someone was causing trouble. Someone reported that person. Someone told the person who did the reporting that they weren't "acting like a true Jedi." The only thing missing is the names, and I don't think we need the names and the public shaming that would accompany that.
That and similar instances in this community over the past few weeks and months (someone said the same thing to me, after all, adding that they also did not think I was a good Christian) are presumably what prompted Kit's post.

It's interesting. One of the closest moderated forums I've ever visited, with some of the strictest posting rules (with good reason given the very specific purpose of this place), with a totally open and unmoderated chat function.
I don't spend a lot of time there myself, but from what I hear in posts like this, it sounds like the wild west. How about restricting it to Members Only, or view only for Guests, and then hold anyone using it to the same standards as anyone using the forum?
I can't help but feel someone walking into what is essentially a Jedi School and telling people they're lousy Jedi is around the same level as someone walking into a Maths class and telling the 12 year olds they're terrible at arithmetic, or perhaps like walking into a gym and laughing at people for sweating or being out of breath.
We come here, all of us, to learn to be better Jedi. That's it.
