American Jedi

Laurent will do well by the Jedi Community. I personanally am hoping between the new show, the documentary and the next movie we will be having a revival. I hope the Jedi Community as a whole is ready for what is about to happen.

A quick web search brought up this short film: American Jedi (2002)

I'm hoping the documentary isn't a remake.

"In this parody of 'Star Wars: Episode 1' and 'American Pie', Jedi-to-be MJ Hannigan must team up with a group of graduating teenagers in an attempt to lose his virginity and become a Jedi master."

In all honesty, the documentary looks interesting and I look forward to checking it out. I'm sure all of you who were involved did great.

LOL wow I love when knights and ranked members of communities take shots at me but complain when i do it to them. I hope you enjoy the video and if you want to speak your mind about me one way or the other we can set that up on my radio show whenever you like.

As anyone who spends a lot of time here and knows Arcade could tell you, that was genuine and friendly humor. Cade is not known for taking pot shots at people, but he is known for finding random and amusing things to share with us.



I love when Knights who have been part of the community since the dark ages are so sensitive and reactive to perceived ridicule. <-- This would be an example of a pot shot.

It has gotten pretty tense around here. I fear I will be drafted into some nutty Jedi crusade any second. Glad we can still be a little tongue-in-cheek about it.

I am looking at the film as an opportunity. Might be fun to coordinate a viewing on chat.

Hey totjo we will be having a open call on 10/6/14 9:00 to 11:00pm eastern time zone on Jedi Realist Radio where people can call in and speak with Laurent or some of the cast from American Jedi. I am hopeful that this is a good episode for some spoilers and hopefully a date of when the show may come out will be nice.

I know this is not a totjo project but i would be very happy to see TOTJO support on it. It truly is a community project and to be honest with the new tv show coming out and new movie on its way the timing for the project is perfect. Now some may say this is a post of self promotion since I am a key person in the documentary and Jedi Realist Radio is my program but really this video is bigger then me, and the other key cast. The documentary is about us as a community. I for one feel confident in saying that the the Jedi Community will get a influx of strong Jedi hopefuls with the documentary and we all need to be prepared for this possibility.

Over the years the Jedi Community took on a lot of bad PR from different jedi groups over the world and my hope is that this video brings us good attention and is received in a positive way.
