And there's absolutely nothin' that says you can't SHARE that space

The way I look at it, is my personal Temple is mine to build how I please. Sometimes it's in a jungle at the precipice of a huge water fall, sometimes it's surrounded by candles, sometimes it's dancing around a bonfire to the sound of drums, and sometimes it's nothing at all. I imagine myself in all these places. They are sacred to me. I don't invite people to them, instead I encourage them to build their own Temples

Well said tzb!
I see the draw of having a physical church. I know I wanted one to go to when I started as a Jedi. I remember the feeling of peace and power of the Christian church I grew up in and needed a place like that. It took me a long time to realize that I could create that kind of place myself. Both within me, and wherever I happened to be....I'm sure this isn't a unique idea, someone smarter has to have the 'theory' behind it. I wonder if this is something we can find and request to get added to the IP?
I'm really looking forward to making a meditation room

My everyday life is out in the world. I serve as a Jedi in my every day life. You make it sound like you're the only one who does and the only one who has the "True" way to do that

But the thing about the Jedi "way" is it's both a way and a building block. It can be a stand-alone belief but it can also add some flavor to others. Take me for instance: I'm a Jedi, who is also Christian, who also follows some of the Shamanic ideas. Would I not 'fit' in your Monastery?

You are looking for A) Is what you are doing needed where you want to do it

So not only will you be spending your now doing good things, you'll be setting yourself up for success in your ultimate goal. And if you final goal changes, there's nothing wrong with that either

benedictveritas wrote: i see i will meditate on it ..........i just feel it is a calling the main goal would be a life of complete servitude to the greater good ...but i see your point thank you ....its just an idea
and you would fit into my monestary whilst you may not chose to live there there are few who wouldnt so long as they are wanting to learn ...i am christian as well my freind
It's a noble goal, and I don't mean to poke holes in your dream, but if you don't invite reality over for the planing stage, he tends to barrel on in like the Kool-aid man at the worst of times haha. That and you seem to have a bit of a hard time making your intentions clear in you posting which leads to lots of assumptions and questions

1. More people interested in the same thing you are. Which, I think is noble and I hope you succeed there! Are you on Facebook? We have a group or two you might be interested in. (to help grow your presence and also to help find people)
2. Acceptance. Which, I do not think is noble. I feel as though when people have been attacking your ideas (like I have, on purpose), you suddenly become defensive. That comes from a lack of surety on your part. Why respond to the negative comments at all? What do you hope to gain from people who care nothing about your endeavors?
