Doesn't "Orthodox" mean "old-traditional"?
If that's the case, you'd have to go back to the first Jedi order and find out what their views were. It may not be that seclusion you mentioned in another thread.
The thing I've learned about the Jedi Path, is it is as individual as the Jedi who walk it. If you feel it is your duty to devote your entire life to the Force, knowledge, and physical discipline then have at it.
MY Jedi Path is about bettering myself, and following the wisdom of God, the Force, the spirits, the Order, and man the best that I can, so that I may serve all to my greatest capacity.

same here ...but this would be about cutting out other worries and being able to focus soley on the path ...its not so much about seclusion the monestary would be more of a place o reprive and learning and would be open to all jedi or not ....novice master monk or someone who leads a normal life

I have found Temples all throughout my life. I've found it in my car, I've found it in a communications closet, I've found it in the bathroom, I've found it online, I've found it in books. I am my Temple. It's where I go to stop the world, re-focus, re-center, and return to my duties. You can learn everywhere. I've found lessons in the youngest children, in the oldest men. In nature, in movies, in books, in heroes and in enemies, and even in people who probably don't even know I exist. Book learning is a great place to start. But it is in following the horizon that I have found the best lessons.
I'm not entirely sure what it is you are looking for. You're asking if there's room. Sure! Make your own space!
...although I think we're drifting into what you intended the first thread to be...

Good post, and such a good point. Why do we need a special building to go to to be spiritual? Jediism is about the whole universe being sacred, being one. We already have this place to discuss our ideas and study, whilst we get on with being Jedi in our everyday lives.
In my opinion, the place of a Jedi is in the world, in the midst of things. Every Jedi should be his or her own Temple.

I think you mean to say a "career Jedi". Or, somebody who's "job" it is to be a Jedi. Running a temple, that sort of thing, rather than pursuing any other life goals.
I guess I would tell you to go for it, if it's where your heart is. But, if I'm being honest, it sounds like you just want to get away from the world. Not in the seclusion sense, but in the reality sense.
