Ghosts/spirits?

The more I follow my spiritual path, the more I’m seeing...something. They’re flickers, shadows, seen from the corner of my eye and upon reinspection, there is nothing there. But I am very confident that I saw something. It’s been happening for a few months now. It’s like knowing that someone is behind a door, but not speaking to you.

This all came to a head this morning. I was up on the indoor running track and saw, it was more an idea of a human figure than anything. When I looked, there was nothing, not even a shadow. When I looked on it as I would on a Shamanistic Journey, I saw in my mind’s eye, a man at one corner of the track, reclining against the guard rail. He didn’t seem to recognize that I was there. I slowed down and when I passed through that corner, the energy was thick. He never acknowledged me, he just stood there, as if he had always been there and always would be.

When I was a kid, I’d always have experiences with ghosts. I accepted it as normal/every day. Never thought about it. It just happened. It just was. Now, I’m not sure what to do with it. I’m shaken. Not in fear, but in wonder.

And now I have the chills. The name that’s been repeating in my head was of an Airman who was stationed at our base. I only knew the name because we named our cantonment area after him. But I hadn’t thought about it since the last exercise. I looked him up and his picture matches what I saw. Staff Sergeant Ray Rangel was killed February 13, 2005, at the age of 29 while on a rescue mission in Balad, Iraq. I honestly got tears in my eyes when I saw his picture.

I don’t even really know what I’m asking here. Does anyone else experience things like this? Am I just seeing the middle world without seeking? I’d love to hear your experiences if you’re willing to share them.

Yeah...Mid November is a recent one. I was working in Blackpool and had a bad night, I know the names of the local families ( I had to, actually), the "rings" was the reason I was there. God awful, it is, thing is I heard the voice of somebody ten years ago and kept swearing I heard it again. Saw Downes and had the s**t scared out of me. Poor girl.

I feel like my story doesn't make sense, if so I just lost five quid.

Any number of explanations can be given, but I would still include "spiritual experience" with whatever science may explain it(and I'm an ex psychology student, so i have my theories)

I've seen the flicker people and talked to animals. I've felt "warnings" that turned out to be prophetic. I've participated in a yak dance that was downright mesmerizing.

Is there things out there that one cannot explain but experience regardless? Yes.

Just remember, your a ghost riding a meat suit made out of star dust. There's nothing to worry about.

It is in my culture that when a ghost appears, it is asking for help. They're in debt... have unfinished work... and they are asking you to help them. You can ignore, of course but... uou never know maybe you need help one day as well. I'd try to find qho he or she is (you know already) read their life story to see if there is anything I can do to help him or her reach calmness.

hmmmmm M. . . .i had waking ghosts appear (i don't pursue paranormal experience) . .the first ghost had a knife and was cutting my chest . . cutting my heart out. . so i gave my heart to him and then he faded and then another arose who had great guilt (aint gonna say what he was trying to do lol) . . . i comforted him, freed him of his guilt, and then he faded . . . i felt no fear . . can't say i could identify either one . .

ghosts with or without meatsuits . . lol . . . they get the same story here . . . lol

LOL I apreciate you sharing but yes, you lost five quid...(I have no idea what a quid is LOL)

I'm not WORRIED about it, I just don't know what to make of all this. :lol:

He seemed calm and content. Just watching the B-1s taking off. He left behind a family but it's been nine years, I'm sure they've moved back to their home town. I've read that Shamanism includes ways to lead human spirits to whatever is next. Maybe I'll have to skip ahead and figure that one out lol

I have always been convinced there was the ghost of a previous tenant in the house that I grew up in. I would occasionally have the same experience you described of seeing basically a shadow of a man then he would be gone upon double take. It would always happen in the corner by the fireplace. Other than a few unexplained locked doors over the years that we had to take apart to get in to he never caused any problems. You could just feel his presense, usually if alone. I grew to enjoy the company over the years, a silent presense is better than nothing. My grandmother passed four years ago so i havent been able to go back now that I understand these things more, but I plan to make my way back sometime to see if he is still around.

I've felt a few presenses walking around my college at odd times before, but I think that is to be expected when the whole valley the school sits in was a village at one point. The only other one I have ever felt is a negative energy at a horse barn a friend of mine volunteers at a lot. It always feels like you are being watched and the crazy family that runs the place has a kid who thinks he speaks with God and they've been spotted preforming odd rituals by workers before. I still have to go investigate that more.

Call them spirits, waves, shadows, fields, disturbances, energy, ghosts, etc... it's amazing what you can sense when you have your antenna tuned to the right frequency. There is no question that we can perceive way more than we give ourselves credit for, but how to explain what we are perceiving is another question all together.
