Is anyone understanding that I'm not trying to establish a checklist of required skills but rather a source of inspiration?

Thank you, I saw that...

I was just surprised to be taken as a dogma machine.

It's a sore spot for a LOT of Jedi. I believe, if Khaos was here, that he would call it being "butt-hurt". People dislike being told they should do anything. Even if it's just a suggestion.

Please don't mistake me for thinking you are looking for a list of required skills. I should have further elaborated.

For the Jedi "there is no ignorance..."

There are simply far too many subjects that a jedi should and could know.

Follow what ever path of knowledge your passions push you towards. "Jedi skill" or not. Knowledge is never a bad thing and you never know when it will come in handy. Know ALL THE THINGS. (that you desire to know)

I personally think that curiosity and an ardent desire to learn are essential characteristics. From there I think its less about what you can do and more about what youre willing to do and what your mindset is.

I am sure it is just phrasing. Often a major hurdle in our online interactions. And even our offline ones. Lists are less inspirational than personal examples in my opinion. And how a topic is approached can set a tone. Simple miscommunication.

What is a useful skill(s) that has served me well as a Jedi?
Patience. As cliche as that may seem. It is a skill I have found to be infinitely useful. And to my surprise many seem to struggle with it. The ability to just breathe, understand that even big events aren't the end of the world, and that time has a wondrous healing effect.
It is a skill I still find myself running out of and having to refocus on. So there is a constant reminder of use, purpose, and trial.

One of the toughest things I have found is patience with myself. With my progress as person, as a Jedi. Patience with the growth of my personal well-being. Yet as I practice and hone that skill of patience I find myself happier and happier not only with my progress, but in general as well. I find it absolutely vital to my Emotional Stability and have found it to be the glue for my entire journey as a Jedi.

I have a similar problem.

A lot of times it comes to me in terms of dealing with problems I've created. I tend to like immediate solutions to problems that have built up over many days or months. lol.

The thing I like about Jediism is that it seeks to enlighten the present moment and look to the future with wisdom, versus most contemporary approach's which rely on dogma or tradition to shape the Force. I find the approach by Jediism to be much more engaging if one puts in the effort to build their own truthful presence in the Force. Just my opinions though. I think its why the program at TOTJO works well, because it's about exercising that drive to facilitate the individual's formation onto their Jedi path. It's meant to be less rigid, but still have enough structure to serve as a community endeavor.

I'd like to see all our wisdom collected into one place. I could probably just sit and read it forever; that's why I came here. If you've ever read the anarchist's cookbook you might get a sense of what it looks like to throw all the taboo info into one book. There is so much we can talk about outside of the constraints of typical paradigms... mind altering drugs, auras, transgender, bush-tracking, capitalism, etc. The forums really don't do justics to all the knowledge and as they get pruned that stuff drops off from the searches and is lost to all who never saw it.

Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
