Well random act of kindness. was walking around school and saw someone i know looking like they were about to cry. i walked up and hugged them.

Cleaned up a strewn about mess in a city park the other day, just because it was a mess and needed cleaning.

I showed tolerance, and great patience to my younger son who was asked to do the dishes. Being a young teen, he allowed himself to be distracted by every form of electronic entertainment in his vast arsenal of gadgets. I never raised my voice to him, I never threatened to take his toys away, I merely attempted to gently steer him back to his tasks. This went on for the better part of Friday. Finally, when I had endured his stalling tactics, and evasions long enough, I did him the kindness of disciplining him, and then explained to him the value and necessity of doing what is required of us, even when it requires sacrifice.

pfffft, just reduces the BS notion of "selflessness".

As for a kindness, there was a girl at my work running her mouth about certain mental illnesses and other stuff. I did her a kindness by putting her in her place

I keep good things I do secret as well. I'm not sure why or if its a good idea or not, come to think about it... maybe its just really bad memory on my part. I might just be forgetting!!!!

I'll pretend its instead not needing to remember :side:

what is positive? What is kindness? For some people, everything they do is positive and kind. Does it help to think about it? Is it even possible to give and receive within the constraints of a society based on credit and debt, where everything is a transaction with a value?

Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
