I got a e mail from a peer at work saying thanks for making his year:

and I didn't even know what I did for him except talk and visit once in a while? He made me feel good.

I work in a village and there is crosswalk across main street. People were blowing right through it, in spite of the yeild to pedestrians sign, while a frail and elderly man waited to cross the etreet. I stopped for him and while he crossed he waived and smiled at me...it felt good.

I was in line at the grocery store with only two items. The older people ahead of me had a dozen or so items. They let me go ahead of them. I left a dollar with the cashere to help pays for their groceries. I'm still smiling. Got my moneys worth.

I stopped at a car accident and gave comfort to the women trapped in her van until the volunteers showed up. She only had minor injuries, miraculously, as she was stuck in a crushed van.
