Sorry for the delay in this post, I have been out of town for a few days. I also apologize for your misunderstanding of my definition post. I’ll try to explain…

Summary of our posts

What do I want from this religion...
Being a Jedi does not require a religion.

The definitions of Religion and Philosophy

- You asked what I wanted from religion and I said I had no religion, and that being a Jedi does not require a religion.
- You called me a Knight of this religion. I am a Jedi Knight and a Deacon in the Jedi Order, but that does not mean it is a religion. Tending to the spiritual needs of the Order does not require a religion, just a deep compassion and commitment to the members of the Order. I care not if they are Buddhist, Taoist, Muslim, Christian, or whatever. Religion is unimportant, it matters not.
- The definitions I gave you show that Religion and Philosophy are very close to the same thing. It is what completes the understanding of what I believe about religion.
- I don’t want anything from religion; I believe in them all and subscribe to none.

Sorry for any mis-understanding

I'm confused? You're a Knight and Deacon in "Temple of the Jedi Order" a religion?

Being a Jedi outside of this place doesn't have a religious connection, I get that but being inside this place with titles bestowed upon by this Churche's representatives seem to me to make you a member of the Jediism Religion the registered Religion of the "Temple of the Jedi Order". This is a legally recognized Religion in two Countries.

Jedi Apprentices, Knights, Scholars, Masters, and High Councilors embrace Jediism as a real living, breathing religion

My point here is this, Religion is not what you say it is, it is not what a Country says it is, it is what you believe it to be or not be. I cannot tell you how to think or feel as you cannot tell me. Your arguments (not meant in a heated or spiteful way) are wasted banter and does not make anyone's opinion more or less valid.

I believe in the Force, I believe in the metaphors of religions, I believe that only I can say what is right for me. Just because you repeat over and over that Jediism is a religion does not make it so for me or others. It is a Philosophical choice to follow the teachings of the Force and the Jedi Ways. It was a conscious choice to administer to the spiritual needs of the members of this Order through learning and teaching the ways of Pastoral Care (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastoral_care) in relationship to the Force and the Jedi Ways.

Please understand... no disrespect is meant in these comments, but the confusion is yours not mine.

Going back to the first question.

The first thing comes to mind, when I read it, was.... water
religion = water

like the water master Bruce lee talks about...

even if the description is not exactly accurate, it fits in almost all in what I look in a religion (or so)

be formless
shapeless
like water
you put water into a cup
it becomes the cup
put it in a teapot
it becomes the teapot
water can flow
or creep or drip or crash
be water my friend

Yes it is and I still am. You're a member of this church? You have title in this church?

It's not banter it's questions. Questions that ask opinion. I'm inquiring not judging.
