The Grateful Thread

Grateful for having had a good day with my kid at the mall, shopping for a prom dress and then going to Build-a-Bear. You realize as your kid gets older that you've only got so many of these days left...

Tonight I'm grateful for the little things.

Freshly shaved legs, yoga pants, and meditating while it rains.

Fresh green tea.

Painted my nails.

Looong bubble bath.

I'm grateful for Jeriko, who has never asked me to be anything other than I am.

I am grateful for Journals, even in their inscribed form they radiate the light that
is the force in each of us. Without it I would be lost again

Because when I realize the migraine is starting early enough into it, it never becomes a full blown migraine.

I am thankful that there are people who will stand up for what is right, despite it being terrifying. Thank you, Melanie Moore, for being that one against the hundreds. You are my hero.

Let's change the focus from vilifying the uneducated and ignorant to making heroes of those who are willing to stand for what is right. Let's educate those on the wrong side of history and open minds. Let's give attention to the positive behavior because that's who deserves it!

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such wonderful people. Both at work and here.

Grateful that some people in government are willing to take a strong stance in protecting the people of my home state from discrimination and hate.

Grateful for finding this jewel of a location today, only 30-4 minutes away from home.
