Our heart starts and stops with electricity (well okay it stops with many other things, a gunshot does it nicely) but can be restarted with electricity. Therefore as an energy being and being able to focus that energy, why does one have to have a physical body to actually "exist".
Try giving your dog or cat a pissed off look and see what that gets you. I own horses and I can tell you with all certainty, you go out to them with a bad attitude you should just go home. I swear they actually are in a way psychic They know what I'm thinking before I get close to them. Recent studies found that most prey animals can sense a heartbeat up to ten feet away.
Energy. Its amazing stuff.

Inter-dimensional Beings = us. Think about paradoxes, infinity, zero, timelessness, time flying by, etc.forsakengrounds wrote: My phones dying but I really wanted to spark a good convesation on here. As a group of liberally educated and minded people what are your views on interdementional beings and psychkenetic energy. beyond this subject what about plain walking or astrial projection. I like to hear input from people. one last freakishly compulsive thought hydrogen is far mor efficient than gasoline and other petrolium based fuels and is a major energy source for all life on earth. H2O is all over but we cant harness molecule spliting to better solve the energy needs on our home.
Psycho-kinetic energy: meh
Plane walking: probably just a metaphor
Astral Projection: probably just a metaphor
Oil: You can live without oil, you choose to live with it. My house+city is powered by hydroelectric(H2O+gravity). I bike everywhere possible. I avoid plastics. In my case, I choose to use 90% less oil than other Americans and I have a lifestyle that would cost roughly $60k/year in a city but because I raise my own stuff organically it costs nothing but a few calories of labour/work. But yeah go ahead and drive 20 miles to Walmart to buy pet food for your dog and eggs to eat and vitamin supplements... or just get your own chicken, ditch the dog, and now you don't need to go to walmart.

Can't have chickens for "pets" in my town unless you own five acres or more.

Busted! I read it... and permies.com, haha. There is a well-paved path to changing the laws to allow backyard chickens and bees. You only need to stand up for your rights.Rickie The Grey wrote: You sound like someone that reads Mother Earths News?

All I would ask is, “why try to convince others of your position?” I would explain my position and leave it up to them to decide. Yah, I know… I’m being picky about wording!Akkarin wrote: It matters when you talk with others and try to convince them of your position...
If that isn't what you're trying to do, as in you keep it private and treat it as such, then I have no issue

“What’s real exactly?” I like the way you said that. So often I feel like a broken record… do YOU think it’s real; do YOU believe it? I feel that it is vitally important that each individual be able to come to their own conclusions as to how they interpret and perceive their universe. Sure that means we won’t always see eye to eye! So what, we’re also not all the same person!Akkarin wrote: Definitely. What's 'real' exactly? They might be 'real experiences', as to what they mean? Well that is then left up to you to interpret. What you do given something you think is real is what really matters...

Do I believe in the supernatural? I have seen things that defy explanation. I have had experiences that have scared me stupid. I know that there is something out there; something not explained by science, but probably not what myth and fairytale describes it to be. How each of us experience (if and when we do) these events, and our personal beliefs at the time, will determine how we interpret them.

O I got bees. No law against them.
Get this, I need a four foot fence to put in a fish pond more than 24 inches deep in my yard. I need it 36 inches in the middle to keep fish year round. Catfish dinner anyone? I may tinker with a solar heater, filter pump and hydroponic filter some day. O what we would do for clean protean. Making seaton today.

I think some people "want" some things to be real more than the believe they are real.
