Thats exactly my point. The monkey in its natural form would not come across a box of pleasure. It was placed there. In the wild the monkey would not be flawed. Only when an unnatural item is placed will the monkeys behave unnaturally.

Humans, as history has shown, dont continue to follow blindly with out thought. Some dont change but as history goes on more and more humans start to ask questions and search for answers.

I say argue because I feel you'd be incapable of making my point sound good. All i see is negative feed back. Are you capable of some positive feed back? o.O

The Jedi and/or their religion, as it is presently, is inherently flawed.
This seems to be the Only website with any presence still active.
This seems to lead itself to the original statement.

What are your views?
What are some flaws, and/or possible solutions if any?

Change must come from within. The only thing you can change absolutely is ourselves, our attitudes, our outlook. No one can stop you from changing what's inside of you!

Buddhist Quote

Magus Steele...follow your own path and break the chain that have bound you to your flaws!

For me...I like my flaws, they define me. Flaws like compassion, kindness, service to others, family values, and respect for the rights of others. Those things I may do wrong, "He who is without sin...." Please forgive me!

Phortis Nespin,
Of course, you're right.
Those "Chains" are gone.
There is still only one lock I have yet to find the key to.
I believe that will come from helping others to find the way.

I have given no feed back, good or bad.
The original post had a purpose.
It could be seen as a test.
There are no right or wrong answers, but the answers say a lot about the nature of others.
Writing in a forum is difficult. Emotion or inflection is hard to judge.
Words have many meanings. How people interpret those words can sometimes tell a lot.

Master Hu presided over a Chán monastery (Chinese pre-cursor of Zen) in the southern hills of China during the Han Dynasty.

One day he asked his pupil, Monk Li, why he had never asked him anything about the meaning of Zen. Monk Li responded that he had already attained understanding from his former master.

“What do you mean?” asked Master Hu.

"I once asked my teacher the question, 'What is the Buddha?' responded Monk Li. "To which my teacher replied: 'Ping-ting Tung-tzu comes for fire'."

“A good answer!” said Master Hu. He paused. “But I’m sure you never understood it”.

“Ping-ting,” explained the monk, “is the God of fire. For him to be seeking fire would be like me seeking the Buddha. I’m the Buddha already, so the question is unnecessary.”

“Just as I thought!” laughed Master Hu. “You didn’t get it.”

Monk Li was so offended that he packed his bags the next day and left the monastery. After several months, however, he repented and decided to return to Master Hu's school, humbly requesting that the master ask him any question he wished.

“It’s your turn to ask me,” said Master Hu.

“What is the Buddha?” inquired the monk.

“Ping-ting Tung-tzu comes for fire,” answered Master Hu.

I believe the information I was hunting for has been recieved, loud and clear.

"Shoot, words are worthless, most times, yet this is all we have to communicate with..."
This is one Item, I needed to read.

Titles, and, projections are the biggest problem with this philosophy/religion.
not from within, but from without.

A new set of words or definitions Are needed.

Much more to come.
To use a cleche quote, "I am here to bring, balance, to the force"
I wouldnt blame you if you didnt believe me.
This comes from the source.
Meditate on this, you must.

Thank you for your responses.

No.

If such a person existed, it would seem if he attended a Jedi gathering.. and they disbelieved him. His Jedi powers would prevent the rocks or spit from making contact, thus proving his alleged skills.

What I was getting at was even if proof is provided, it's always a magic trick, or a hoax or whatever. No amount of evidence is sufficient.

The irony here is that if a real Jedi like from the movies, stepped forward to show adherent's of jediism that force abilities can indeed be developed, none of them would believe it was possible.

Often times we may believe something, but if we are open and give things a try… we can find that sometimes, just sometimes we are pleasantly surprised. ;)
