When I first learned how to drive, I was very scared of the car I was controlling. It was a 2 ton machine that could kill people if the operator didn't know what they were doing. It made it pretty difficult to catch on to things with the nervousness resulting in that thought.
Over time, practicing driving, I began noticing that my natural ability to drive improved more and more. When I thought about it at that time, I noticed what was happening.
When I first began driving, my frame of mind was: Me AND the car. I was separate from the car, and trying to control it as if it was separate.
After I improved a great deal, my frame of mind was: Me AS the car. When I drive now, it naturally occurs that I become one with the car. The windshield is my eyes, the tires are my feet, and I am no longer trying to control some alien 2 ton machine. I am simply in motion AS the vehicle I am driving. I don't have to think about the details of what the engine is doing, how the wheels are turning, etc.
Such can be the experience of myself and the complete experience/environment around me. Oh, wait... the experience of myself AS the complete experience/environment around me.

Another observation...
A story book.
Can you guess why?

You're writing a story book?
Stories can be greatly influential in our day to day lives and the grander scheme of things.

When you hold a book in your hand, what are you holding?
What is the book about? It has people in it. It has events in it. It has places in it. It has ideas in it. And it is all together as one thing - every person, event, place and idea, bound together as a single "thing".
I think it reflects what Alan Watts taught, about the idea of people, places, and events not being separate at all, but only seeming separate because of our limitations to perceive reality through our individual perceptions, one piece at a time (one second, minute, hour, day at a time for example), yet when you hold a book in your hand, you are holding all of this at once.

I never thought the Spice Girls were so prophetic, but they have given one of the worlds most important lessons. One that is applicable to all forms of communications and could solve many arguments..."Tell me what you want, what you really, really want!"

The harmonies between two or more singing voices, blended together, to create a completely different feel of sound than any of the notes alone, and how every silence between sound gives every moment with sound its power and presence...
