Many times I have found that what is on paper seldom reflects the true nature of what is there to be observed. Of every person I have ever met from Somalia they are a wonderful, kind and loving people who have endured many hardships. And it is those qualities and that enduring spirit, through such hardships, that leads me to believe your people could be some of the finest human beings out there.
All too often, people judge by the bad they see; but, I have found that the greater majority in any situation are those that keep it all held together in the day to day workings. They are the ones which exhibit the finer qualities of humanity and should be the ones the group is judged by.
May the Force be with you my friend.
Based on facts n consistent statistics, my country has been in anarchy for over 2 decades which is almost unheard of yet I am as proud as they come to be hailing from that particular race. Yes my friends I happen to be from Somalia and my race on paper is the worst.

Dear Wescli,
Thank you for your kind words and truly magnificent observation. Yes we have endured a lot and our current state of affairs if one sips from the fountain of hidden history will realise that it's no coincidence that we r in the dire state we find ourselves facing. Our plight is directly originating from our refusal to comply n conform to the wills n ills of the unseen hand that dictates to most states n majority of the masses.Their sinister agenda which entailed abandoning of culture and ancient wisdom did not sit well with us and what we have been seeing for the past 20 odd years is the backlash of refusal to embrace modernity as put on the table to us. We have become resilient and accepted fates hand for we know deep down it is better to be you in a humble hut than to imitate a king while living in a sewer (spiritually speaking) .
May the force be with u too

I agree with Reliah, I am part of the human race. And we do some truely awful things. I am not ashamed of this though as they are not my actions, I do the best I can with what I'm given.
