What do you do for a living?

What do the Jedi here at this Temple do for a living? And if you don't work for a living, are you in school? What takes the largest part of your time during the day?
I'm a mother - that's what takes up the largest part of my time during the day. Time with kids, cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. etc.
In the past, I completed technical college to be a pharmacy technician.
I am currently in school to become a certified yoga instructor.
I'm also a Jedi apprentice. Oh wait...
My hat's off to any mother in this Temple as I know first-hand the challenges (and the joys!) of raising little ones. Keep up the most important work out there!
(I remember you saying months ago on one of these threads that you were studying to be a Yoga instructor. Good for you and let us know when you meet that goal!)

Long story short; I write programs for computer numeric controlled machines so that they can take raw materials and turn them into something useful. The job involves setting behind a computer all day and running numbers. Lots of math and lots of different computer languages and it will eventually drive you insane!

Hahahhahahhahha

I think that programming may be the path to the DARK side!

And most people have no idea what that is so I’ll spend a few minutes explaining exactly what it is I do… till I see their eyes gloss over and the lights turn off inside! Hahahhaha

It IS the path to the dark side. Having been a programmer myself for years, I know.
CNC routers, very cool. You've told me about them before you mathematical genius you. I used to work in a furniture shop (as I mentioned) and they purchased a CNC router right after I left. They needed a machine to do the work I used to do. Hahaha.

Occasional diner duties were worst because everyone wanted to drink and not eat so to stave off the boredom I used to do binary multiplication problems on napkins. Not any more, thankfully!!
Ah, man, lol.
You must have been EXTREMELY bored, haha.

Oh yes! And there are only so many times you can rearrange the burger buns in patterns before going slightly mad...
